OMG I’m so glad I was also curious and decided to rewatch cause I’m waiting for next weekend. I kinda went a little crazy while analyzing the episodes trying to figure it out. I may be off a little bit but I think it’s pretty close. i feel like the two episodes a weekend also makes it feel like so long. however, I’ve notice the story is always continuous, they always show the cycle of characters in the day then going to bed, so in their time is very slow day by day.

In EP 7, JH calls YD drunk and she tells him she’s 8 weeks. then in the next day TK is congratulated by his friend because his wedding to the banshee was in a week. Also in EP7, they show witch’s coworkers opening her wedding invites and it says the day is April 16th. so a week before I estimated at about April 10th. Then later when they move in in EP 11, I saw TKs friend/bil circle the next day 26th. so I counted from the 10th and she’s about 10 weeks. Then I counted out how many night have they been at the annex. here’s my summary

Night 1 - went YDs family restaurant for her bday (27th)
Night 2 - TK got stupid drunk and YD heard him.
Night 3 - TK defends her from the sexist butthole lecturer and then they eat ice cream.
Night 4 - TK Carrie’s her to bed after she falls asleep on the ugly couch.
Night 5 - TK is sick so YD pricks his thumb.
Night 6 - YD sees a text from the witch and TK ignores the text.
Night 7 - TK and YD go back to her family’s house for the weekend and her uncle finds out TK isn’t the dad.
Night 8 - TKs mom and the evil sister-in-law see that they are sleeping separately so his mom has them stay in the main house.
Night 9 - TK and YD have to share a bed to not get caught.
Night 10 - TK gets pissed at YD and decides he loves carrots now.
Night 11 - TK gets wasted again and is taken home by that devil witch.
Night 12 - Family drama again so TK has to flee to the hotel.
Night 13 - TK tells YD her wants to end the contract immediately.
Night 14 - TK stupidly tells YD he’s in love with someone.
Night 15 - YD decides she’s done with all these cowshats and defends TK then he confesses.

so counting from the memorial on the 26th, I estimated its around May 11th. that would put YD at about 12 weeks pregnant so 3 months. Although some people do show at 3 months, maybe because she’s so small she doesn’t have to show yet. I’m not sure but maybe soon she will show. I wonder if they do any time jumps?

i really hope she does get punished for her evil! i just hope the writers don’t plan a happy ending for her. it’s so unrealistic especially when the villian has done illegal things and at the end they get away with just an apology. it always happens and I just hope they don’t plan on doing that for her.

I agree, I can’t wait! I’ve been obsessed with this drama! and this weeks episode proved exactly why! some great scenes. i can’t wait for the plot to progress.

Do you guys think SJ will get a redemption arc?After watching this weeks episodes, I definitely think that YD and SJ will become step sisters eventually. I can see the evil family will probably have redemption arc and a lot of character development, but what about SJ? She might always be connected to YD and TK’s life, but I don’t even know how they would do a redemption for her. She too far gone and batshat crazy. I don’t even think I’d want to see her if I was YD and TK. she needs mental help at this point. I’m thinking theyll lean towards redemption because of the shows whole theme of family. if you were YD and TK would you forgive her?

i definitely agree it was a very touching scene! i would also say YD was also deep in thought while waiting for TK at the hotel, so I think she was still thinking about what she was at the statue.

i noticed that too! i think she was hesitant because she also doesn’t really even know what she’s feeling. she feels really grateful to TK and sees him as her hero. she truly does see TK as a kind and caring person unlike how he presents himself to others, which I think is a defense mechanism. seeing how he’s treated in the family has made her want to help him and protect him. However at the same time her top priority has become Jinjja, which is also probably why she doesn’t know she likes him. she’s so focused on jinjja, she doesn’t even realize she’s fallen in love.

so in that moment where she was hesitant. i think she was thinking things over and what she could actually do to help him. she already believes that TK is in love with someone else so she’s not even sure her help is wanted. But I think I’m this moment she thought over how much TK has helped her and protected not only her but jinjja as well. so I think then she finally decided it didn’t matter if he was in love with someone else she wanted justice for him. I’d also say that she didn’t even know her own feeling until the confession when she cried. i think it was all just so overwhelming and she’s scared. i really hope TK can break down her walls and they can be together soon!

i understand that perspective, but I also think how the conservative society also affects her decision. obviously not excusing the abuse, but she did what she thought was best for her child. i also would say she’s also very oppressed in the house and also can’t even stand up for herself. so going against the grandma would take a lot of courage especially because she’s an elder. Hopefully YD does change things in the house for the better.

can we also talk about TKs mom, she’s soooo sweet. i love her and she really does love her son. she also treats YD with so much care, they have a great bond. though I know some people may say she put TK in that situation marrying into that family. but I think she did what she thought was best for him and that was marrying into a family to give him a father and siblings. which is also probably why she puts up with all the crap and work they give her though she probably didn’t know he’d be treated like this for 20 flipping years. it’s now hard on her end because she can’t choose between the family or TK, so seeing her cry when YD defended TK confirmed it for me that she does truly does love her son and cares for him. i know she is so thankful to YD for saying everything she couldn’t say.

SJ is just psycho in my opinion. like actually crazy. Her obsession with getting into the family has taken over her whole life.

once again our girl YD, popped off. She ate and left no crumbs. she slayed. She stays protecting HER husband. i love how she has a whole teacher vibe when arguing with the family especially the grandma lol

WHOOOO I was not expecting them getting together so soon. i really thought the writers were gonna drag it out. I can’t wait for next weekend! the pain of having to wait a whole week for two episodes is real this week.

i was thinking the same thing. they may split but probably raise the child together or sm.

I feel like EP 25 because it’s the midpoint and I feel like they’ll have that be the big moment. I think the next weekend will have more denial and the weekend next will be filled with maybe and hesitation. Thats my prediction, whenever it is, I hope it’s soon. I really wannna see them together.

What’s y’all’s opinion on TK and YD’s chemistry?

I’ve been seeing a lot of comments saying they don’t have chemistry and seem awkward. In my opinion I think the awkwardness is intentional and is there because they’re both introverted and shy with each other. However I’ve noticed they’re only like this when they’re in front of others. Before they were married, when they were alone they got along and I’d say were even friends so I feel a bit of chemistry. I feel like at this point the writers are trying to build more of an emotional bond between them first before anything else. YD just got out of a toxic relationship with a cheating asswipe and TK has been traumatized by that terrible family and that probably has to do with why he hates marriage. He’s never really felt true connecting love, but he has had physical attraction/lust. So I think the writers are putting an emotional connection first and healing both of them. At this moment, I think they do a good job with the chemistry. Especially when it comes to them working as a team against everyone else. I’m so excited for tomorrow’s episode, I hope we get to see a witch burn lmao.

Hahahahha I guess I kinda meant what you’re saying but wrote it weird. I definitely think he hasn’t processed it but once he does I think he’ll make the first move. I also think there’s a chance he might slip up again in front of her like when he was drunk especially When he realizes how much he does like her. I can definitely see how deep his love is for her since the beginning and how he’s struggled to accept these feeling as love because he doesn’t know how that feels yet. I also feel the same as you and want to reach through the screen and smack them both in the head lmao.

All the YD haters that said she sucked as a main lead can shut up after ep 19. My girl slayed. Not only did she argue back to the Joseon grandma, but she also kicked that witch’s butt. Also honorable mention as well for her defending her husband against the eldest son.
