After such a long drama drought I'm finally content with the quality of this drama... literally every episode it at par..no unnecessary plots..no extra screen time for the second leads (tho I kind of want Gao Yi and Jiang hu to fix their conflicts they can be such a great team!!). The step brother is also soooo cute but he keeps on getting used like a tissue paper by Shaoyang and her mom....the mom character is such an ick for me I really hate her voice and everything about her, and it's the same poor girl trope with a spoiled brat mom for Shaoyang it's soo overused atp i skip their scenes... Regardless of this the conveyed story and the directory of this drama is at par and I'm soo impressed with the outcome..I really hope the quality stays this way for the rest of the remaining episodes.

I mean she was a rich heiress and if she were gullible and extra sweet it would have felt so unreal... everything she had be it her father, her wealth, her status, it got ripped away from her overnight..imo her attitude of is somewhat justifiable...also this drama will show her transformation and it is already happening actually...if you remember in the first ep when a lady got her heels dirty by mistake she was polite but she abandoned her heels without thinking twice but in the later eps she had to sell all of her designer shoes just to arrange a few thousand yuans..this is the way director is portraying the irony of those two situations and as we progress to the end of the drama she won't be such a spoiled brat due to all these hardships she's facing rn

I knoww that Anle's 30,000 soldiers are her bargaining chip but the amount of times they are using that dialogue is getting out of hand..and it's clearly showing the poor script writing.. And about Han Ye I really like Simon's acting and I've been rooting for him eversince his drama begin again but this role even if he's giving it his all there's nothing interesting about it...every other cdrama prince or the main lead have this pretty face dashing aura and can always predict dangers even before they happen...lastly I'm saying this is to criticize the drama directing and the script writing..the actors are doing a fair job acting whatever they've been told to act.. Also, I have read this somewhere that in China the producers sometimes make dramas with star cast and poor script writing just to make money...I think this drama is one of them which is sad because I was actually hoping so much from this
Anle won't let anyone forget about her 30 k soldiers dowry lmao..even in her intense scenes she somehow brings it up and it's really irritating now 🥲 Secondly that Chengen...even when I had no idea about her evil side (I kind of did tho, because Chinese dramas are famous for pitching women against women and it's stupid) I had this urge to stuff a potato in her face to make her stop talking...and her bodyguard is so dumb.. Idk what happened with the plot they had the best actors and actresses out there (I'm talking about Dilraba and the Mingxi gege Simon's acting is the same righteous pretty prince and anyone can do that tbh)...this drama could've been so much better if only they had a proper story line and a sensible writer.... I tried to look past so many cringey scenes just for the sake of trying to watch this drama but watching this on normal speed is such a torture...and I can't with the side characters, all they do is either staring at the camera or the floor or at the sky and I'm convinced with the fact this is just to fill in the ep time because the story is super predictable and it could've easily ended as a 16 ep drama..which would've been so much more bearable... idk how many more long stares, unnecessary background music and 30 k Navy soldiers we will have to go through before this ends...I'm super disappointed 😔

Nope they search for investors before airing a drama...the commercials that run while the drama is airing is what they're searching for...once there's enough investment and the project has the airing licence the drama can air whenever the platform wants...
