Actually, I find Sun a bigger prick than In. What In did to Sun is debatable. I too do not find it very smart…
A rather interesting viewpoint indeed.
Sun tried to be normal with In, but In initially distanced himself from Sun after Sun *confessed* (Ep.7 T-Shirt Scene).
From my perspective, Sun never intended to distance himself from Nam and In but he felt like he had to because it is the only way that In would stand a chance to Nam (because Nam likes Sun), he liked In so much that he withstood being a "bridge" for a time for the two of them despite his pain.
In did gave Sun a lot of hints that Sun is special to him, from spoken words across all the episodes upto ep.7. Those words were way pass simple bromance in my opinion, In wasn't aware (and very accepting) that he already fell for Sun, well who wouldn't? Sun became more of a family to In than his own, tending to all his needs (Very wifey).
Seeing In with a lot of flashback from how Sun took care of him and how he misses him and all the happy moments they had, it is way too clear for me that the feeling is already "romantic" in nature.
I demand a Season 2 for In-Sun. They deserve a "happier" ending than this.
