Because the script was made that way by the director to give the 2nd leads more highlight while just giving plain story line to the main leads but main leadsYSX and ZLH still slayed though.And moreover male leads ZLH's many scenes to highlight his character was cut off just to give more screentime to the 2nd leads who were like th emain leads in disguise.Overall this drama was just a hoax to use main leads to attract viewers as they have huge fanbase only for the director to give all the highlight to the others casts and cp to promote his fav while using main leads popularity. And FYI this must be the only Cdrama where the 2nd leads have more screentime than the main leads in every episode....I understand every character is important to contribute to the drama but in china 1st billing and 2nd billing and so on are very imp and that's how fans anticipate for their fav drama where they have high Billings so main leads in this drama was badly mistreated.The director here was really a wolf in sheep clothing using main leads popyto highlight only his favs..iykuk So though the story was too good and the ending was left on a cliffhanger and needs a season 2,there is high possibility the main leads won't be coming back for season 2
