Ah, okay. Yeah, he still has the bandage on the right side of his neck even now on episode 5. So I guess this is something new they're doing, or it was in one of the books. Thanks guys!

So I have a question that I'll put under the spoiler below:
In the intro we see Wu Xie get his neck cut, fall, and then he's lying on the sand. I have yet to watch the episodes yet (only the first 10 or so minutes) so I don't know if this wound, which is now a scar, happened, but I've been talking with someone who's seen them and so far there's no explanation.
So is this something that happened in the previous series or in the books?
