If you feel like the drama is anything less than a 8.7, it's you. clearly there are people who like it, hence…
It has a unique storyline for sure. Could have been better given the amazing actor ensemble and top notch cinematography.
I just wish the director and writers had made different choices. The time spent on the ML's trauma was excessive and held back his development (swimming pool anyone?) while too many plots were crammed into the 12 episodes in a cookie cutter fashion. Many of these plots were resolved so easily and it came at the expense of character building scenes which could have let us get more invested in the actual characters themselves. The human story behind it. They had the actors to pull that off.
I also reckon the second leads were treated too superficially when there was so much dialogue in the original webtoon story. They gave the two actors and their characters a raw deal.
Finally, that scene with SHS at the end of episode 10 was simply amazing. To see such raw emotion on her face and how it changed as she re-lived her first life in real time was gut wrenching . I read a poster saying Kim Tae Ri could have pulled that scene off and I couldnt disagree more, i love Kim Tae Ri but she doesnt have the range yet. SHS is such a unique actress and its great to see her on screen after such a long absence. She is the best in the business.
The finale is coming up soon. Any guesses who were the evil ones? My guess is that it was Mingi in her first life that was orchestrating the whole thing and the bells were fake news And the show will end at the carousel again. Lol
as someone who hasn't read the webtoon, nor does plan to (i just don't care much for webtoons), allow me to say…
I find this drama is above average which is a pity as it had the potential to be much more. Dont really care that it doesnt follow the webtoon but on its own merits, the direction wasnt really good. Too many slow and boring moments before something interesting comes up. There were many great scenes, most involving the FLand her sister and niece. Frankly, all the male characters are dead boring including the father and uncle. No offenses to the actors. Its just their characters as written were very poor.
so true! they should just followed the webtoon.. don’t know why the writers change the plot and making it like…
Not enough episodes. They had a limited budget. Lets be happy with what we got instead of nothing. Maybe one day they will do a remake like the endless spiderman reboots.
