I'm only a few episodes in but the dad is so irritating, he doesn't even know the whole story and he's still letting that annoying old man in, I get where he's coming from but he's hurting poor grandma so much. The amount of times I just wanna go into the drama and smack him whwjwbwjjq.
Actually, nobody made him look gay, DBS just assumed he was by herself.I personnaly find it really funny because…
I'm talking about how the producers made him seem gay at the start for the first few episodes and just scraped it later, and Bong Soon friend assumed it and she nearly tagged along
To be honest it started to drop off at around episode 5 (for me at least) and I don't really understand why they made min hyuk seem like a gay person during the first 3 episodes just to entirely get rid of it later on. I guess to make it seem so that Bong soon doesn't feel scared or just for comedic purposes but the gay baiting is getting kind of old in Korean dramas. Though I kind of understand since Korea is still conservative.
I'm sorry but I just couldn't get into this drama, I love bl dramas and I know that the acting is good and all here and the storyline is more mature than shows like 2 moons, but the storyline just bored me. The beginning episodes irritated me because the seniors, all they did was just scream and yell, it all just seems so unnecessary and boring. Not to mention, the couple I feel like didn't really have any real interactions besides kongkrub flirting with Arthit and Arthit getting mad and flustered. I don't really believe the show deserves such a high rating even if it's an unpopular opinion.
5 episodes in, and i hate the female lead. does her character improve later on?
yeaaaa.... you should probably just move on to reply 1994 or reply 1997, they're more mature stories than this one. Though I prefered this female lead compared to the others since she always had this I don't give two shits about boys for most of the season
one of my favorite artist in Thailand ... btw he has a upcoming movie entitled "playboy and the gang of cherry"…
Yea its rated r, I was quite surprise too, I always remember him from movies like puppy honey and love love you but then I remember him being in other movies such as the blue hour so I guess its only natural that he'll be in matte movies too
Did they literally just queer bait me with the character bingrae? Like seriously? I mean I guess he was exploring his sexuality but I can't help but feel so disappointed (and slightly angry). In a way, this basically says, "oh you're probably not gay, it's just a phase," and since there's barely any LGBT representation at all in South Korea, it just seems like this would cause more people to stay closeted.
To be honest, I respect singha for taking the scholarship and abandoning his friends. It is sad that he left them, but his future is more important than a bunch of people that might not even be in his life anymore. It's just one of the many hardships of growing up.
Still one of my favorite movies though.
And I love how they focus on the parents story too unlike the other reply series
