Omg what you’re so sweet!! By some stroke of luck, I found out I had downloaded it at the time and totally forgot until I chanced upon it! Let me know if you’d like me to send it to you :)
Don't, you will be disappointed if you looking for romance, specially for Jong Suk. Not only this but for the…
The original series (unstoppable high kick) had a great loveline IMO with a good ending. So I wholly recommend it if you like puppy dog noona romances that tug at your heartstrings
Granted, that’s the only high kick season I watched but it was great
Episodes 1-7: Wistful, beautiful, painful and extremely well done in terms of the emotions and FEELS. My heart ached at the slow burn romance that was both forbidden and one-sided. The music, camera angles and development had me gripped.
Episodes 8-14: The writing took a dramatic downfall here, not sure what happened with how repetitive and flat the story and characters became. If only the show kept up its momentum with the two leads *sigh* This show should have been 12 episodes long, with much less focus on the external drama/politics/repetitiveness.
If anyone knows of any shows like the beginning of this one where it has this wistful tone with the guy harboring a secret/doomed love filled with longing and pain - please let me know!
Am I the only one who feel like this drama is dripping with subtle romance? Like you can feel the tension and…
YES I AGREE. I was so hesitant in starting this show cause the comments were so negative. But the slowburn is exactly what I love!! The wistfulness, tension, micro-expressions, longing, ahhh I love it. Granted, I skip through a lot of the villain and corruption scenes, but it helps me enjoy their romance a lot more haha.
If anyone knows any other shows like this with a slowburn romance, where the guy longingly falls in love first and it HURTS (Episodes 1-6), pls let me know!!
This is super specific, but I’m going to try asking anyway. There was this fan made mv for this show on YouTube. The background song played was “the wisp sings - by winter aid”.
I recently rewatched this show and I’m in my feels again and that mv did a NUMBER on me. Can someone help me find this video?
Wow what a drama, the angst was top notch. THE FEELS. I really want to find more dramas like this ;_; It's such a pity that the manga hasn't been translated, does anyone know if there are any plans for that?
No, South Korea is not in lockdown. They got an early jump on testing and contact tracing, and so the only people…
Wow that’s crazy! What other countries are like this? Lol oh dear, I’ve become so ego-centric, I thought the whole world was under quarantine like the West. I didn’t realize South Korea pretty much had normalcy during this time. Thanks for clearing that up.
