I watched 11th episode today and that's the end for me.7 high, eun yu and se dol were my favorite.This season literally showed that how low some people can go to win in life that they will do anything. winning all the time doesn't matter as we all can lose sometimes but when we lose without doing anything deceitful or crafty things to someone who uses underhand tactics we feel more pride in our defeat. But for some people a winner is winner no matter how manipulative he is that's why i guess mob follow manipulative politicians more than a social activist
Immortal poet is one of the best osts i have heard in c drama it's a shame they cut rap part. The ost is also a reason for me to watch romance part again and again. that ost make scene between linan and xu qian more aesthetic to watch
I like Princess Lin An's character because it’s different from other C-drama female leads. In most historical C-dramas, characters like her are often portrayed as villainous stepsisters. However, I appreciate the approach here in showing her side of the story. She simply wants to be recognized, as she is often compared to other princess. It’s touching to see that even her mother and brother, whom she loves deeply, don’t realize she doesn’t like desserts anymore. She’s not like other C-drama heroines who are portrayed as perfect; her imperfections make her more relatable.
This drama is different than other historical c drama its goes against serious tone of other c drama and still able to captivate in its story and world building certainly till 4 episode look solid 9 for me. There aren't many drama of same genre came out of china so you should atleast give try even if you don't like c drama

Can't help but skip lead couple screen time. They still bicker like child and its not even funny just straight up boring. Jung hae in and jung so min can't save show from the boring writing of writer.
At this point it look like it is a forced romance. It will be good if they both are only friends as fl doesn't have any feeling for ml other than friend vibe for him in 10 episodes so far and now they will use 6 more episode to make her fall for him. just too much wasting time
