im going to agree with her. He never actually slept or had any relationship with nankrai. It was all in his mind. It was heavily implied that Nan knew he didn’t have a chance. That’s what made nans story so sad. The longing for something he knew he could never have. Even after he went back in time he may have stayed with nan but deep down his heart was still victors. Gotta read between the lines.
