This drama reminds me why I started liking K-dramas. It gives off old vibes, you know, those dramas that were trendy around 2013-2019. They were full of perfect OSTs, high quality, had the ideal episode length, filled with family drama, chemistry brimming with love, comedy followed by serious matters, twists and turns , the list goes on. i really miss those dramas they kept you on edge the whole week, eagerly awaiting the next episode, the last time I felt this way was with 'Twinkling Watermelon.' I hope they continue producing these types of dramas with similarly great casting.

I feel the same way. I know we’re supposed to give her because her family is messed up, childhood trauma blah…
Are we watching the same show? how can people not sympathize with her? the traumas she's endured are no joke at all. yet, some victim-blame and all that. How is she terrible? they haven't fully clarified their past, and there are still unanswered questions. but so far, how are we all okay with the male lead? sure, he has his reasons, and it's not fair whatever he's going through but does that mean it's okay for the female lead? No, no one deserves to be treated in any bad way. We all see she has trouble showing emotions and struggling to express love, he's the one who jumped to conclusions from day one when he saw her, then he accepted everything after he figured it out. If we're blaming anyone, then let's blame both because they both messed up in their own way.

Why always blame the female lead?

It's realistic.he is in an abusive relationship with the FL and her whole family, with zero means of escape. The…
If he simply hated her, it would make sense, but he still has some feelings for her and wants to respect her. So, it's very conflicting to hate someone to that extent while still harboring feelings for them. Yes, we're all human and not everything is black and white, but it's just hard to see wishing death upon someone you might still love as a normal trait. Death is an extreme case, it's more likely when you purely hate someone.

Completely agree. I can understand any ridiculous things but not the thought of wanting her to die. I’m really…
Deep down, maybe he doesn't want her to die, but the fact that you're wishing for it, telling your friends, and planning stuff, is messed up, not gonna lie.

I'm in the midst of a mental crisis here. There's this intense urge to slap Hyun Woo so hard, yet at the same time, I find myself sympathizing with him. His struggles and the hardships he's faced are undeniably valid, which only deepens my sympathy for him. However, despite all that, his actions towards her are simply abhorrent and downright evil. He deserves a thousand slaps, and even that wouldn't suffice given the extent of his manipulation and his despicable wish for her death.

If you are expecting romance then dont even waste your time lol
As I mentioned earlier, my memory tends to be quite foggy when it comes to recalling specific details, including names. I had to double-check just to confirm who you were referring to. However, one thing I do recall is that romance didn't play a significant role in the drama, at least not in a way that appealed to me personally. It could be due to the expectations I had going into it. It seems that romance was more of your cup of tea when it came to the drama. But as we all know, preferences vary from person to person. Personally, I found myself drawn to other characters besides the main lead, I actually quite liked the secondary female character, and am surprised they created her for the drama. Unfortunately, whatever romantic elements in the storyline didn't resonate with me as much as I had hoped.

who ever wrote/direct this drama deserve a big APPLAUD coz dont think have ever seen similar, like if a perfection was a drama it would be this one. The way the writer/director made me trust them every ep and the way they never disappointed me is amazing, like literally every eps am not even overreacting, this drama was a miracle and made my Thursdays amazing for a while, will definitely miss it..

If you are expecting romance then dont even waste your time lol
Okay, if I had seen your comment a month ago, I would have replied with clarification, but now I can't because I barely remember anything. However, it's common knowledge that romance isn't solely about intimacy; it encompasses a variety of aspects such as emotional connection, support, and more. But let's be honest, when most people hear the word "romance," they immediately think of physical and emotional intimacy.

One thing I do recall is that this show barely focused on romance between the leads. I'd even go as far as to say that the secondary couple seemed to have more romantic moments than the main leads did. I'm not sure about the "healthy relationship" you mentioned, as I don't remember much about it, but if I recall correctly, we didn't even get to witness them living together for a while or see their relationship grow. They always traveled separately and only came together after being apart for a while. While their love may have been convincing, there was barely any romance between them. Physical Intimacy? Forget about it—I don't even remember if they had any. However, the support and protection were there.

Anyway, I understand your point, and there's nothing to be corrected here because we both have different understandings and views of the drama. Indeed, what the leads had didn't feel romantic enough for me, but that's just my opinion.
