I'm having a very hard time processing the fact that she's the same person who wrote miss mermaid and love ft. marriage and divorce. Totally speechless...
I'm happy you enjoyed reading! Lee Hyun Wook really did incredibly well in this role and it catapulted him onto…
Apologies for replying late~ I also began to watch more and more of his acting in different series when i first discovered him from sfh (Mine, Good detective) and i absolutely loved it! The man deserves more roles and recognition. Again thank you for this article, it was a very enjoyable read~
Couldn't have said it better myself! I had a really good time reading this article~ It made me remember lee hyun wook's brilliant performance and the decent writing and directing of this series. Thank you so much for your in-depth analysis!
Honestly i didn't have high expectations but i actually like it. The cinematography was gorgeous as heck and the choice of clothing was on point. I really like the kind of dramas that use vivid and bright colors so much and this one happens to be one~
It was a really nice show to watch especially when it comes to its production, set up, directing and acting. I do have a complaint though.... Everything seemed perfect to me except for the character writing. I'm not saying it was bad, but i think it could've been better; The characters to me were mostly like " I have a tragic past and I'm a good person" or " I have a tragic past and I'm a bad person", but again it's just my opinion. There were some parts that I really liked, but most of it seemed like that to me. Someone had mentioned it in the comments that this was written a long time ago (sth like 10 years, do correct me if I'm wrong though) If this series was to be produced with the same quality back then, It would've became an even bigger hit. It had neat idea nevertheless. highly recommended.
Great analysis! I believe both shin hakyun & yeo jin goo in Beyond evil would also be categorized as "anti-heroes" however I'm sorta conflicted about which type would they fit in...
It's been a long time, but i personally think that the evil characters in "beyond evil" would have their spots reserved if this post was written a few months ago :D
Damn... some ppl may think that I'm exaggerating it but omg, this series was a masterpiece! I mean, if u like the genre i personally can't see why would someone not like it. Very well written, remarkable actors and actresses, great osts and the pros of the series goes on!
CONTAINS SPOILERS:I know it's more of a matter of different tastes but some of the things that you've mentioned…
I don't mean this in a bad way, i promise, but wouldn't it be better to post your opinion as a regular comment than a review? the reason i'm sayin' this is that most of the reviews are the ones that have watched the whole thing and then wrote a somewhat unbiased comment about it... (Not just yours but the ones who have given it a 10/10 already do not really belong to this section) (again, you can do whatever u wish to but i'm just sayin'...)
CONTAINS SPOILERS: I know it's more of a matter of different tastes but some of the things that you've mentioned are proven to be wrong as the story continues... also, fl's father is NOT cho seung woo's brother, in fact they're completely unrelated. This is just my opinion but the story and the whole series became a lot better from episode 6 till now since some of the things that were questioned earlier are explained... i'd say that if u do have the time, it'll be worth it to give it another go.... I'm almost confident that you're opinion will change after watching the recent eps...
