He, to me was always looking at Vegas, especially after the condom scene and Vegas asking Pete if he wants to share with him.
Pete also asked to go to Vegas home to help Porsche knowing he may get hurt or, killed, which is were Pete picked up one item thatis used for bondage sex play, and Pete showed no signs of disgust.
Pete and Vegas had know each other even before epi 12.
I think Pete cared for and loved Vegas all the time.
His being taken by Vegas just gave him the chance to finally admit his feelings for Vegas.
Pete kissed Vegas first.
