kdrama audience is majority female. Female viewers want the ML only to have eyes for the FL. I get it, but it does suck for male viewers when 90% of dramas are targeted at a female audience.
Too many people are looking at FL's past and trying to justify her actions. IMO there is nothing that justifies it BUT showing her past allows the viewer to understand why she became who she is now.
Instead of trying to make the FL perfect, try to understand that she is a flawed character and enjoy her development. IMO is it more interesting when characters are not perfect from start to finish. It allows for a more interesting character study.
This goes for most other characters in this drama as well.
I am enjoying the different approatch to the leads but i do hope the showrunners put some genuine effort into the FL character development/redemtion. Some of the things she i doing right now is really fucked up so i hope the showrunners don't just brush over it later like it was no big deal.

I still think a comment section is the right place the vent out frustration on a show, i do agree that simply responding "it's a waste of time, don't watch it" without further context is lazy and kinda of sabotages new viewers.
Going back to your first comment you say there is " no end " to hate comments, i disagree, when I scroll threw the comments the majority of them are simply fair criticism that can help a new viewer decide to watch the show or not.
It is actually hard to find a single comment that doesn't have an explanation as to why they dislike the drama.

Just because a show has supernatural elements doesn't mean it needs to have "superhero action".
As for the FL and the other characters, it is clear that this show isn't trying to depict flawless characters in a wholesome romance.
