Same. I think the ending is good if not great. The last two episodes is epic and full of action. Everything is in place. When I finish watched it, I don't feel mad or extreme sad either. It feel like kind of joy because everything was solved without hanging and big plot hole. That's why I like it.
Find out on Weibo they actually has extra episode on 7/9. Manifesting happy ending. I don't care anymore if they live in Heavenly Realm or Mortal World. Just let these two have happy ending.
When Xuan Ye touched YY and YY cried. I felt for him. And also when YY finally gone, all devils disappear and all the soldiers in Heavenly Realm kneel down to respect YY. That part really touched me. I cried. His sacrificed worth it.
They still didn't show the scene where : 1. YY and YD put lantern in the river 2. YY and YD kiss scene at the Mortal World
Make me wondering if this is open ending . Feel like Youku want to make more money and we have to pay for this upcoming extra episode. If that is the case then it will be great to get another ending (at least for me). But if Youku don't want to air the unreleased scene, then that's it. After watching today episodes, I rather let YY and YD live forever in mortal world. I don't mind anymore if YY can be the Emperor or not.

Watched again all the trailers and videos, I don't think I'm ready for Part 2. Part 2 is more abusive than Part 1.. Can't imagined if YY knew his friend betrayed him (saw trailer Star Jidu fight YY /YD in red dress). Seems like YD will knew all the sacrifices YY made for her before mortal arc and ready to protect him this time while YY gonna die to protect three realms and her.
Saw the finale kiss scene (youku paid tidbits) and I'm really curious if he was born again, then he is YY/TZ???? since there is no mark on his forehead.

At first, he got his memories but later the memories was removed during his reincarnation and disappeared. Some said Heavenly Emperor did it and this Emperor kind of hiding something.
