I honestly think what made this drama successful and loved is the wonderful natural chemistry of Tsy and XK ; on and off screen . Because when you think about it, this type of plot has been done many times in the past. Also the director was quite good, screen writing more than decent and a solid cast in general.
Not only was the business aspect interesting for once for me and the secondary characters didn't actually annoy me.

The amount of times I kept saying " awww they're so cute" at Jixing/Han Ting scenes 🙈🙈😅😅😍😍😍.
So many cute moments between the leads. So many scenes between them period.
The director really delivered on the Romance in the drama. Oftentimes you'll see a modern C drama that is supposed to have romance and you don't get much at all so ABAY was such a pleasant surprise 🙂🙂🙂.

Tbh I don't know why the Wang Kai side is still shipping so hard? I honestly don't think there's anything going on there. She has said herself in variety shows since flight to you that she was single. Besides I've heard that he's dating another actress? Who knows what's going on with everyone involved but I'm quite puzzled at the fact that some of her fans like to ship her with him still.

Quite honestly. I love Han Ting as a character but he sucked as a communicator in the beginning in his relationship imo. Like as we are watching the drama, we know that he's madly in love with her, pulled all type of stops slowly but surely to get her but initially when they started dating, he didn't do a good job of communicating his feelings to her imo. Thankfully they got over that when they reconciled but yeah....
