She's lucky that she's in a very good agency and has some very good backing bc many actresses no matter how talented they're wouldn't survive that long break in C entertainment. She seems to be the type of actress who's mostly good at a specific genre of roles; like you said her modern dramas flopped after story of yanxi palace. Even Royal feast, her reunion with Xu Kai was kind of a let down ( imo and quite frankly for a lot of people ) but I think that it was mostly the script that was at fault.
If she does reunite with her latest ML, she needs to be sure to pick a good script for it. I don't want another Royal feast situation.

SO very proud of her and well deserved. My girl may not be a traffic star (I actually think that she goes out of her way to not be one or do not want to do what most of them are doing for popularity)but the general public (passerbys) will always be tuning in for her :).

I saw . How exciting. Not a big fan of these type of C dramas even though they are the most popular ones but I will watch it for her. I am intrigued; especially since it's her 1st time doing these type of dramas. The plot also seemed great.

Proud of Us for holding our own against Lost for you forever Season 2 (it lowkey has the advantage of a cult/huge following since season 1 and it is a costume drama). Good for them :)
We seem to be going 1 or 2 with them on some of these various metrics but n1 on primetime TV.
So far we are n1 for Hunan Tv for the year; Let's hope we keep getting great ratings and continue to increase.

I think that once they really start dating and get to the Romance....we'll see even new heights with some of these charts/rankings.

My 2 faves. I was so happy when they were confirmed for this drama. This pairing is a dream come true lol. I knew that they were going to have chemistry bc they're both great actors and have great chemistry with other actors on their other projects but they're exceeding my expectations here. Such an amazing chemistry on and off screen; literally sparks whenever they're onscreen.

I have been trying to avoid spoilers lol.

I personally think that ABAY present Xi Ting as a very intelligent young woman ( something I love about the drama). She's finding difficulty as a CEO which is understandable because anyone who hasn't had experience in the management side of things would find difficult with it. .. whether they're in their 20s, 30s or ,40s. This is realistic. I do not see how the drama isn't presenting her emotional maturity.
Also Seven to me has a baby face and imo she looks to be in late 20s as it is stated in the novel of I'm not mistaken.
Don't know what's going on with the double. Didn't watch so yeah and frankly I do not care.
Also regarding Seven. A lot of her dramas did very well on Youtube. Fox and the Summer is at 15 million of views for the 1st episode last time I checked.
Go ahead at almost 8 million for 1 of their episodes on YouTube for one channel and 3 million for the 1st one. Not to mention sword of the brocade, Under the power....
The drama is performing very well at the moment, especially with other current costume dramas airing. It also reached a new peak last night for primetime ratings last night.

Her drama Go ahead from 4 years ago STILL holds the record for ratings in Hunan TV; Not sure if Abay is going to beat that. it would be nice though lol.

I follow Dilraba as well and I remember there were similar issues at the time for billing which were resolved I think .Still I'm pretty sure it ended up that they will be equal billing ( whatever that means) and her name still appeared 2nd. If Dilraba someone who's that popular had issues at the time and she's arguably the top traffic on the woman side for her generation. If he collaborates with Seven who as successful as she's with her dramas is kind of an independent artist with no strong backing, they're definitely going to get her 2nd billing. I usually don't care for this stuff but I feel like at this stage of her career and she has accomplished way too much already for this . I wouldn't mind if it's a very respected acting veteran ( like with Wallace chung for sword of the brocade).
Plus another thing is that he has a few popular CPS and honestly I don't want to see these fights.
Even when Fireworks of my heart was airing, they were still attacking some of his previous Cps .

Btw no offense to yang yang and his fans. I don't have any issues with him but yeah.........

yup that's what I count on doing. I know from experience that a lot of Kdramas and Cdramas dont faithfully adapt to a book or (worse) some completely deviate from everything and create their own plots and I dont want anything to spoil my enjoyment of the drama lol. This is why I did not want to read it before I watch it.

Hope to see ABAY added on Netflix soon. Almost half way in and I can say with certitude that it is 1 of the best recent Chinese modern dramas.

oh wow thank you ; now I want to read the book even more . I will do it once the drama ends . The business side of this drama is so interesting. 1st time in a while for me where this aspect doesnt annoy me in a C drama and where I actually look forward to it. I resisted since last year to read the book because I dont want to be disappointed with what they're going to omit in the drama lol. It seems like they are doing a good job so far as far as adaptating it goes .

I'm rooting for Ji xing and her company but her and the employees are stressing me out 😖😖😖. It's always something happening arghhhhh 😅😅. Lord at this point, I'm starting to even doubt that their 1st launch will be successful 😔😔. Han Ting will be pissed if they don't succeed and low-key rightfully so 😔😔

More Ceos like Han Ting in dramas please. Very rational . Besides loving her so much, he has so much trust on her talents. Xu Kai is killing it in this drama. One of his best acting yet 👏👏👏
