Nah I have to give HUGE kudos to my girl Seven for doing this drama mostly because of the amount of skinship, kisses, lovey-dovey moments this drama had. This is not something she is used to so I appreciate her for going out of her comfort zone and doing a drama like this. She is always challenging herself and I love that about her. As for Jing Boran, I saw 1 of his movies a few years ago so I was not surprised lol. Secondly, amazing actors. I believe that to do a Chinese drama like this one with this level of intimacy and make it very believable to your audience speaks to your acting capabilities especially when 1 of them is in a public relationship (JB). I also loved watching their behind the scenes; loved the camaraderie, laughs, dedication to their craft, great actors. Now on to the story. It portrayed second chance at love so beautifully and realistically . I understand the criticims of this drama, even as I was watching it , I remember saying to myself " this drama isnt for everyone" . I can understand why some people called it slow, boring or propagandish....eh to each their own. My thing is that sometimes we need a drama like this that show us the daily mundane life of 2 people without something crazy or earth shattering happening in their relationship. It was a beautiful drama and the only modern chinese drama I managed to finish this year. Loved it. I am also glad that the drama managed to do well without much promo. The cast only had a iqyi live broadcast were TSY wasnt even physically present and yet it is still top 1 for hunan tv this year if im not mistaken and I see a lot of videos with many views about it on youtube so well done team.

Who is his agent because that person is a MVP. The amount of quality projects he bags, brands....just brava 👏. Don't get me wrong he's talented but he has a great agency behind him as well. He has a Japanese movie coming up with 1 of the top young Japanese actresses of her generation and now a support role in a Korean a drama with very respected veterans ? I know Koreans love him but it's so hard for male foreigners actors to break in that industry. I like him. Good luck to him and his future is very bright 👏👏

I've seen Tiffany in other dramas which I loved but she outdid herself here because the acting, the acting...bravo 🙌👏 🙌.

It's kind of in bad taste to come here the page for the drama and put it down by comparing it to the story of minglan. I understand that everyone is entitled to their opinions but what's the difference between this and going to a page about an actor you don't like and trash their acting by comparing them to A or B actor ? I completely understand the criticism about not liking it for whatever reasons because we all have different tastes but when you come here and specifically say X or Y was so much better...cmon now. Imagine if I went to the story of the minglan page and called it overrated and disparage that drama compared to this one? Anyways, among all TSY dramas I've watched this is probably my most re-watched one . I loved her and Wallace chemistry, the plot, cinematography, all the actors....everyone worked hard to make this drama a gem and so glad that it was extremely successful as well; surpassing expectations. Every month we get news about it in being broadcast in various parts in Asia 🎉🎉🎉.

Poor Wallace smh. I was so looking forward to another historical drama of his since the sword and the Brocade. I didn't even care for the female lead ( I didn't like her acting in sassy princess) so I was going to watch this because of him and the plot and now this drama will never see the light of the day smh....also I feel bad for everyone working behind the scenes because this drama looked like a lot money was put into it.

I don't know why this drama is still on TSY future dramas mdl list, Dylan too. How did this rumour even came about? Wasn't it like from 2/3 years ago? I really don't think is happening.

Her studio posted a video of her shopping at Walmart today lol. I wonder why there's so much secrecy with Shu Brocade that we don't even have the official booting ceremony pics/video and announcement yet....and they already started filming since a month now.

She went there 4/5 times in the past if I'm not mistaken and the main host is her good friend..... that's quite a lot compared to most actors. She promoted with 3 different MLs and one time she just went to promote her song. I don't even think that Xu kai went there that much. The last time she went there was 2 years ago to promote the sword and the brocade with Wallace Chung which was a Tencent production. I really want promo for this drama which is why next year would be the best airing date. Like give us a variety show or something.

Sometimes you just pair 2 actors for a project and magic happens and that's the case here. This show wouldn't have been as successful as it was and still is without Seven and Allen.. seriously..Till this day it'll still being broadcast in some Asian countries. You could give this script to any other actors and with the budget they had and it wouldn't have been that successful imo. Imo a lot of credit into its huge success go to them because quite frankly the plot was a mess at some point and CGI? Yeah lol. This is literally top 3 of Allen or Seven best pairings. No wonder they still have a lot of cp fans till this day. I really liked it but it's not without some shortcomings but like I said the 2 leads really contributed to most of its success and that deserves to be acknowledged.

Her return to historical dramas since the sword and the brocade. I'm so excited and I hope it's a S or S+ drama. Tsy deserves it . I'm not familiar with the ML but I watched him in Sassy princess ( dropped it because of the FL) but people say that he's a very good actor and does his stunts as well so yes I'm very excited to see this hopefully next year.

The way I'm always fighting for my life defending him online lol .....people always love to come for his acting smh .My fave under 30 Chinese actor. I don't care what people say but this man can act. Quite honestly imo it's the scripts he chooses that do not show his true potential or some dramas where his screentime is obviously reduced in favor of other leads ( sad to say but I've dropped some of his dramas because of that). Imo he is heading in a good direction with the scripts he is taking lately. I'm more excited for ABAY bc TSY is my fave Chinese actress and she's a very good actress!!! I want to know what's up with wonderland of love though? How come we don't have a airing date yet and why are some dramas that filmed after already airing? Hopefully it'll be released this year. I feel like it might be in November or December. So Glad that he's on a much deserved break right now..this man works like crazy.... filming after filming, with brand events in between. Even though he has an event on the 27 th of this month, he would have at least what 2 weeks of rest? I do hope that in the future when he finally leaves that shady manager and company ,he has more freedom on what he wants to do with his career.....or he gets to the point where he can comfortably say no to certain projects or take time off as needed. I just think that he's like this huge moneymaker for the company where people are using his hard work to promote others... anyways, I'm rambling lol.

I finally caved in and decided to make an account after years of lurking lol. My literally 2 faves together in a drama and to say that I'm excited for this drama is an understatement....I was so happy when this was official back in February. This is literally my dream CP. Loved the little trailer we got and all the Reuters, BTS, that we got so far. 2024 can't come soon enough!!! Hopefully they'll release more promo material at the end of the month. I also hope they'll be able to do some type of promo next year. Tencent please send them to Happy Camp next year !!! Hope we get at least 1 variety show but that may be too much to ask for sigh.....

Nope and it's for the best. They won't even have time to promote. I'm pretty sure xukai will be filming his next drama before the ends and she's still filming and won't be done untill December. I'm hoping for some type of promo and as much as I'm excited for this drama to release it's best that it's released next year.

I saw the behind the scenes and trailer of course and what an actress...her crying scenes just wow...give another award !!! I know she will still be filming when it releases but I hope she gets to promote a little. I can't wait to watch this.

I finally decided to create an account after years of lurking lol. Huge TSY fan,. She is my favorite Chinese actress. I pretty watched most of her dramas. I'm extremely excited for as beautiful as you since I'm a big fan of Xu Kai.... literally my 2 faves together ( I've wanted them to star in a drama for a while) so expect to see more of me when more promo material and and when it airs next year. I'm also excited to see Shurenjia because it's not often that she does historical dramas.....loved loved under the power and the sword and the brocade. I've seen some people here who wants her to do a lot of them but she herself said that she prefer modern dramas. I'm also not a big fan of wuxia and xianxia dramas so I don't mind her not doing these dramas. I saw the trailer of so long for love her movie that will be released this December 1st and my God the crying scenes.....what an actress. She will still be filming so I hope that she can promote a little. I'm also glad that we'll have 2 projects of her this year that and Road home. For one second, I thought we were going to end the year with only 1 project.
