So No Seven drama this year it seems like. A lot of Melons say that Xiao Yao has been postponed; quite frankly it is probably the best. Also we will get a reprieve from the CP fans of Neo's last drama; y'all just dont see how a lot of them are hardcore on social media especially during his concert he had 2 or 3 days ago.
It is best that it airs next year IMO. January.
At least we will have 2 Seven dramas next year. I hope that we get a solid rumour of what drama she will be filming next year soon........
Apparently it has been postponed and quite frankly as much as I want to see the drama, I am highkey ok with it. As a Seven fan , I really like Neo (he is 1 of my favorite C actors ) but I really dont want us to have to deal with the CP fans of his last drama this soon. I see it all over social media and how a lot of them are hardcore with the shipping; some of them already started with Seven....so a few weeks to cool off from it (since it finished airing not too long ago)and air the drama next year seems like the best choice to me. Plus it always seems on the cards to air on CCTV as well and the schedule seems full for this year; next year seems more likely then.
There are rumours that Seven and Neo are set to attend IQYI Scream Night on December 6th to start kicking off the promo of TUS(The Unclouded Soul)/Xiao Yao.

Yes Idk why there are doing this ...so it will basically air a few days after xiao yao. I think that I saw that he is also filming hi 6 with the glory cast in December so yeah it is coming after ; literally a few days interval between both dramas so big chance that the airing time will overlap somehow......
Kiwis, is it true glory and TUS will release side by side? Probably a 14 days interval? Oh no,,, how will HMH…
From what I know TUS was always going to be released at some point in November or December of this year; this was always in the cards. They are trying to get a TV spot ....hence why it took long to get it released. IMO the Glory should have been released next year, like in January or February. Idk the insistence of releasing it this year.
I saw that apparently he is filming his next drama at the end of the month; I wished he could have at least a few days off. I saw how his schedule has been jammed packed. I dont understand how his current company think that have someone working like this non stop, attending events here and there...basically with no breaks is ok. I remember how sick he got at one point when filming.
Hopefully he will reach success to a point where he has his own studio; he will be able to choose his scripts more and take breaks if he can. I have noticed that a few popular actors who have been in the industry for over a decade and a certain level of success have their own studios.

I see this all the time when established actresses get paired up with either up and coming actors or popular younger actors; the ageist comments are also through the roof SMH. It so disrespectful and annoying. Hopefully this is just a bad bunch of few fans.
Another reason why I keep saying here that I want her to work more with established senior actors in the industry ; they may not be as popular as her but who are really respected for their craft; acting with them will give her even more credence.
I hope he can get better script and source for his next drama, the way he act so well it'll be such a waste to…
I really agree with this. He is a very good actor but somehow I feel like when you look at his body of work they are really some poor scripts imo; not his fault btw;....maybe it is the resources....idk.
I was also trying to finally watch the romance of the tiger and the rose the other day and yes I know this drama is popular....I kept putting off watching this. Lusi is another one of my faves but I cant just get into it. I go through another one of his dramas that I want to watch but again the script is annoying me.
His recent dramas that I have enjoyed are melody of golden age (glad that they are doing another drama) and the one last year with Esther. I even tried to watch the drama he did with Esther prior to this and once again the script annoyed me lol.

The more I think about how she " married that 1st son", the more annoyed I get with that plot; it just seems to unnecessary to me . Idk why they couldnt just do a fake marriage trope where she marries the 7th son who is our ML, and solve that case . This is basically what she is trying to do in the 1st place; why did she have to marry a death body and someone that she never had any romantic feelings for and vice versa? Sometimes a project can have potential; the actors are great; (especially in this drama. I recognize a lot of actors that I see in other Costume dramas), the budget is there....but what fails the drama is the script....so annoying.
