ZYC is a great actor and seems like a fun guy for the little I have seen of him outside of acting. I just do not think that he suits playing the ML of Against the Current especially when I read part of the novel. He is not who I envision as the ML.Truly no offense to him.
I wouldn't mind him and Seven reuniting in another project but I think it is best that it is a modern drama as I think that it suits him much better.
I hope that this new male lead rumor is true. I am going to wait for confirmation to reserve my excitement; because previously I was so excited about the other potential Ml just to be told that it is ZYC again.

Why would they want to attach their name to this when they can have much more better and lucrative projects that they can choose from? You will only see a B/C list actor or an actor of the rise accepting this IF Disney choose to recast him.
The name of this drama is Slowly and Intensely (Way much better name imo and I am glad that they changed it). Can this be changed here on MDL? It is NOT Show business.

Even when the writer sent them the 1st foodtruck, the name on it was Slowly and Intensely. I didnt like show business it seems too formal and too business-like. Thank goodness it was changed.

I unfortunately dont think that Disney will cancel this drama. That would be too good to be true. They are probably going to wait and will try to release it months later ; this is why we need to keep applying pressure to them.
Also all these big A list celebrities that people are naming below. I am sorry but let's be realistic. I am positive that no big A lister would want to go near this project especially as a replacement. Why would they when they have so many bigger and better projects to choose from ?
IF and I mean IF someone replace him , it will most likely be an actor in their 30s on the rise; not that famous , but a great actor or a Rookie.
Where have y'all ever heard in the k industry recently an A lister replacing another A lister especially after an ugly scandal like this? None of them would want to attach their name to this project and I dont blame them.
It will probably be a B OR C actor IF Disney choose to recast.
