As for Prince I-An, I think the writers wanted an underdog story but were sadly blown off track. His character had so many gaps.
If you want the Grand Prince to be the protagonist from an underdog, show us exactly how restricted his options were and how he rose above all of them.
The show needed more episodes to iron out all the kinks. Left us wanting for more, sadly.

But Prime Minister Min Jeong U is making me nervous. This character has so much potential, please don't make him a cardboard villian or an obsessive lover-boy. He exudes too much dignity for that. Plus, Steve Noh is so drop-dead gorgeous. Give him a normal arc please, makers and find his own love story in the process, with someone else. 🙏🙏🥲🥲
