thank you for the articlei wanna ask you i watched liar game korean version and i loved it is it similar to the…
As someone who watched both, even though the Korean one was based on the Japanese original, they still felt quite different.
It was a smart move to not copy it all as it would have been impossible to to better.
The Japanese version was still miles ahead though.

i have yet to get into a drama with eden, the male lead...I don’t know if it’s his characters or the writing…
I have to admit I also dropped them all ;) The only one I finished was Le Coup de Foudre. I can't believe you didn't like it by the way ^^ But I do agree the main lead was pretty stiff, Janice made it work for me and the story was very well paced, still I can understand why you did not like it. This kind of drama seem like a hit or miss with most people.

You should watch Le Coup de Foudre it is a really good drama but, honestly, Janice Wu and the story were the main reasons the drama excelled. Eden was only a supporting character on that one.
I did watch two dramas were he was the main lead: Well Dominated Love and Walk Into Your Memory. They were not not that bad if you like sweet love stories with a lot of fluff but I have to admit they got boring at the end and yes acting wise it was not the best.

Do you guys know similar dramas to this? I wanna feel the same tension and disgust.
I'm not really sure how similar you want them to be but for the psychological aspect I would recommend:
Korea: Children of Nobody, The Village: Achiara's Secret, Soul, The Guest and Save Me
China: Madhouse
Japan: Liar Game, The Quiz Show, Hokuto, Meishi Game, Anata no Ban Desu and 3 Nen A Gumi: Ima kara Mina-san wa, Hitojichi Desu
If you like japanese dramas with a bit of psycological and thriller i think the network WOWOW excels at those.

I really loved the drama. The pace and storyline were very engaging. The actors did an excellent job, I felt their fears and despair through the screen.
Still I hoped the drama focused more on the kids and the hardships they face in school. Bullying and alienation are a true and serious problem that children all over the world have to face and people often turn a blind eye to. This drama and it's audience would have gained a lot if they tried to educate people on the issue.
Unlike shown on the drama kids can be evil, very very evil and scary to each other. I feel like they tried too hard to keep their innocence and tried to blame the parents for their actions. Sure in this case the parents held a lot of responsibilities, but it is not always like that and, in the end, it was still their choice and actions. It felt a bit unrealistic to put the blame in only one character (as bas as he was) and make the others go through some kind of redemption. I would have liked to see them pay for their crimes and show the consequences that such actions generate.
It kind of felt like they wanted to talk about a sensitive subject without being controversial.

(The PPLs were ridiculous and their timing were just awful...)

I do believe that the secret ingredient to a great drama is a well written villain. They can become the highlight of the drama and sometimes even end up overpowering the leads, the perfect example would be The K2 and Voice.
What bothers me most is that usually in dramas the heroes are no match for the villains or the other way around, I feel that writers don't know how to write evenly matched villains and heroes. It's never about outsmarting the other but instead it's a fight to see who is dumber than the other.

Lee Sang Yeob in Signal, he was very good... I never really paid attention to his past roles but he definitely stole my heart in Signal. He only appeared for a little while but left a deep impression.

I understand now your article is more about songs that people would listen to not as an ost but on a daily basis. I guess your choices make sense now. At first when I saw this article I thought your idea was to show the songs that made us think about a drama whenever we heard it.^-^
Another drama wih nice ost was It's Okay, That's Love I don't know if you saw it

In my opinion the three most memorable aren't on the list... The first one is Don't Forget by Baek JinYoung in Iris. After there is My Destiny from Lyn in You Who came from the Stars (the song is so iconic that I even know it without having seen the drama). The last one are almost all the songs from The Princess Man.

Even though I'm exited since this is my favorite drama of all times I can't help but be worried... I'm afraid they will ruin the drama for me, plus Liar Game was excellent mainly because of the amazing cast. I wonder what it will be like without Matsuda Shota which was for me the heart of the drama and so were the other actors which fitted perfectly with their respective character.
It will be hard to do better but hopefully it won't be a total failure, I guess we will know the turn out when the cast is revealed.

I'm really surprised Yoo SeungHo didn't make it on the list, I think he is one of the most promising under 30 actors out there. I would have also loved to see Choi JinHyuk on the list, he is one of my favorite actors right now, I just love his voice.
For the over 30 for me 1st place will always belong to Lee MinKi I just love that guy he is an excellent actor with perfect visuals. I was really surprised not to see WonBin on the list, isn't he one of Korea's most beloved actors... I guess the fact he hasn't been active for a while didn't help.
The female rankings are really accurate in my opinion. I've always had a female crush on Shin MinAh, that woman is just perfect and, in my opinion, the most beautiful woman in South Korea.

Yes I did. As you said it is very dark... I loved it but at the same time I didn't like it, I had mixed feelings while watching it. The overall story line was good but a little too violent. Still I love both actors so I had to watch it.

I forgot Peter Ho :\ I can't believe I forgot one of my favorite taiwanese actors... It must be because I haven't seen him since Ring Ring Bell, but I'm patiently waiting for him to come back with a good drama.
As for women I totally agree with you... Even though she isn't the best actress you can't help but fall in love with her same goes with Barbie.
