After everything Liu Dong Qin delivered as Shang Wang, I can't imagine him playing another character, much less imagine anyone else playing Shang Wang. It fit very well. I say the same about Benjamin and Jiang Tian.
The chemistry really is insane. I read and reread the novel, seeing both of them in each scene; I watch and rewatch the series enjoying every minute... it's a very good feeling. The second season is important precisely to see them both on the small screen, because reading the novel, I have already traveled a lot in my thoughts s2.
