I fing hate that mum she ruined everything... she didn't even care about Jeong-yo till the end she only cared about pi-o like she disgusts me and the way she treated Jeong-yo since the start with so much hatred really agitated me... that's why i'm not necessarily satisfied with her ending...like why does she get to have a chance for happiness when Pi-o and Jeong-yo suffered so much and also we didn't even actually see what happened to Jeong-yo during the 9 years like imagine being in a foreign country where no one knows you, being scared for your life that someone wants to kill you, and you can't even communicate with the people there...like i feel so much for him and to make it even worse he can't even play the piano again like that's just so sad.....
I also feel so bad for Pi-o everyone just being so mean to him like the mum and grandpa were horrible af to him and the way he always blames himself for the way they act like fuck these adult they are the cause of his suffering. I lowkey just wish the ending was the two main characters just running away together and just performing music together while travelling around for the rest of their life......
And ngl, the gf/bf thing was random af like it just looks like they are good friends (like pi-o does not show any interest in her in that way) idk why the director/writer added it in I feel like it was just pointless, especially given the fact that the fl barely had any screen time, like I seriously did not give a fudge about her. Like, why would I when she was barely in the show?
i get why the rating is below 8...like the series is boring it's not even satisfying too watch (like i get that he isn't sure about what he wants to do and is using his job as a safety net but thw only changes he has made is putting his foot down about his opinions). im just confused how this script even got approved like there is a lot of potential for it but it feels so lackluster like i wish it was less about the company and more about the characters also with the way the show is going i feel like i know what the end will be :/
ahh well i am not that active in bl fandoms so i haven't heard but if they haven't officially announced that they won't be acting together any longer maybe the company has something planned out or are trying to plan something?
Also to add on to my earlier comment I really liked how the series focused on one couple because sometimes I hate when they introduce another couple like most of the times I'm not interested in the second couple I just want to know more about the first one.
Just finished this and I'll be honest there are some plot holes /some conversations that I wanted to hear about (like the Harvard drama) and the Dan subplot at the end did feel kind of random but overall I enjoyed the series a lot mainly because I love dark romance and this had many of the classic drama tropes I like seeing 😝like I love me some angst 🤭.
However I do think the acting could have been better like in the crying scenes most of them looked the same...like I want to see more variety in expressions. Also, at some scenes I couldn't understand the emotion they were trying to convey but I enjoyed the show more than I expected!
honestly I enjoyed it a lot at the start but the last few eps felt really rushed and there were questionable scenes/stuff that was missed (like we didn't get to see the other cast member get exposed the manager liking him felt really out of nowhere). Also let's be for real the lawyer could have easily contacted another reporter 💀but yh overall for a casual watch I would recommend.
I did get bored half way through so I loved that the reunion happened earlier usually in kdramas it happens at the very end so I like how they structured the drama out but can't lie I am interested in learning about the bully and wished the ending was more satisfying.
Romance for no reason- also, technically, she fell for her father, whose personality is not at all the same as the MC, so how does that even make sense :/ Anyway, other than that, the drama was predictable, but still it was enjoyable to watch.
