And yes, I agree, they had chemistry. BTW, I am not sure, but did Bai Qian like her master. She would not have liked Li Jing at the beginning if she was already in love with her master. LOL, if that is true, it means she liked three people in the show.

I felt bad for him from the beginning. If we think about it, Si Yin never gave him an answer, so I don't know if we can really blame him for doing what he did. We know he always loved Si Yin. He was just unlucky. He and Si Yin could have potentially been the lead actors of the show.

haha. I think I will start watching Arang and the Magistrate when I'm done, it has the same genres ( Historical, Romance and Fantasy). It is not rated as high and it is korean. It probably won't be as good as eternal love, but i'll give it a try and tell you if it seems good if you like. And actually, do you have any suggestions. I have seen scarlet heart, which was pretty good too, but you probably have seen that one.

Omg, the ost in this show is just so beautiful, especially the song "Chilly". I love how it is implemented in the show during the warmest scenes.

I completely agree, I have seen a handful of Chinese drama but eternal love is my favourite. However, of the ones i"ve seen, here are the ones I really liked starting with my most favourite, eternal love, love me if you dare, love O2O, when a snail falls in love and an old one (which you've probably seen) devil beside you. I've seen many others that were pretty good, but few could be compared to eternal love.I Finished eternal love yesterday and have been looking for a similar drama, but I guess I'll be fruitless for some time.

This makes more sense. Yeah, I understand the censorship issue. I really liked Li Jing, he liked one person through the whole show.

Okay, so Xuan Nu thought that LI JIng is in love with a guy( Si Yin) and still did not care and offered herself as a female version of Si YIn. And in the novel, Li Jing actually fell in love with a guy ( Si yin he thought was a guy), and later realised that she is a girl. No wonder I was confused. Thank you guys.

One should also realise that they live for thousands of years with not much to do, they sort of have a lot of time on their hands to be persistent. Also, she never gave up because as we saw at the end, it was not that he did not like her, he just could not be with her. She was consistent. I do not like characters who fall in and out of love easily. I feel the same towards Li Jing. It is Bai Qian really who fell for three people in the show, her master, Li Jing and Ye Hua. I obviously liked the lead actress too, I'm just saying that I prefer FJ and DH.

That is something I will never understand. It makes sense to say she knows Si Yin is a girl, but how did she ( and actually other people at some point) know that she is a girl, just out of the blue, I don't know, I mean something is clearly off. We just gotta ignore these senseless parts for the sake of enjoying the show. That's my answer unless I too am missing something. lol

I guess people really do have different tastes. Everyone thinks that DJ and FJ were draggy, but those two were my Favourite couple.I loved them more than the main couple, and not even at a single point I thought their story was draggy. I felt that there was a hidden tail behind them, which was explained at the end as you said. Their love was so touching and sad. I just finished the show and they are the two that are on my mind, not the main couple. That's kinda funny. Honestly, reading people's comments makes me feel that those two's relationship wasn't well understood or appreciated, which really annoys me. So I better just not continue reading the comments and keep my version of a beautiful memory of the show. But seriously, nobody agrees with me? That's sad :(
