I felt the same, BUT, when I watched almost full season and then (yesterday) rewatched ep.1-2 it felt differently - I love it now! The point that now I know the team, new members, their stories and I'm invested. It seems that I needed time to like them and to like the new trauma center.
My favorite episodes are 5 and 10.

I don't know, they've created so strong (like father-son) relationship between Dr.Kim and SWJ, so it will be difficult to adapt to the new male lead. AHS will be enlisted.

When you appoint a person for a position you have the expectations. Always.
The key finding from Dr Kim to KDJ is the question "do you want to be a leader or a boss?" This was the leading question. A lesson.

it was shown that he has not met Dr Kim's expectations as well, this plot line looks like a new lesson for KDJ and Dr Kim both, and I wouldn't mind it if only they did it not in the 4 last episodes...
