While he is not the main character, I found Xiao Wu to be the most likable character in this series. He was straightforward, loyal, manly, kind and upright.

I feel like it shouldn't have mattered if he was VIP. It wouldn't be malpractice cause he really wasn't treated, but it is neglect. Just because a patient doesn't show external symptoms doesn't mean they are totally ok. For the dr that was supposed to check on him, it is unfortunate that he forgot abt the patient. Even though it can happen but he answered to the nurse that he would check so it is right of him to accept responsibility for it in the end. I mean if they diagnose him treated him and he still passed then it could be called an unfortunate outcome. But not to have been looked at when he was under the trusted care of doctors and nurses is not really excusable. In my opinion. I felt torn because the doc was a good doctor. But if you look from a realistic pov and if I was the mom, I feel that the doc taking responsibility is the right thing. I wouldn't go as far to sue the hospital. The person responsible should be the one to accept the repercussions.

Finally started filming with original casts. So glad this is finally kicking off. Does anyone know if the character Gao Da is coming back? I liked him and Wang Qi Nian, the trio with the ML.

Thanks everyone. I had a hunch it was him, but wasn't sure. I feel like after a hundred years he could stop wearing a mask since no one alive pass 100 years would recognize him. I kinda wish that he didn't have to become king then chances he could travel around then eventually meet Pian Ran again. That would have been better for me. But it is true that he cared most for the ppl so I assume he was best choice for a king. This whole series has too much suffering already. I wanted at least one happy thing for this couple.

When TTJ faked his death, who took the throne in his place? I think it a weird thing to have all king generations to wear a mask…

Oh wow I didn’t know that they changed it. Oh so that mean they cut a chunk then since originally I thought in total it was going to have 58 eps or something. I’m sad then cause if there were any scenes of the supporting cast those are probably first to get cut.

I thought there will be a part 2? So in total the series won't be 40eps. They just split it up to pass requirements since there is a limit on number of eps for one drama.
