thats what i was saying! i liked him so much at the beginning but by the last episode he annoyed me so much like…
True, and he immediately told her that he loves her during their talk in the last ep, like wtf, that's incredibly fast, plus she lowkey looked uncomfortable after he said it. Also, he showed no concern for Black and his potential feelings. His relationship with Eugene was just so pointless, ugh.
I really do like this series, but they really need to get the plot moving. This was ep 7 of 10 and we haven't…
I haven't watched the show yet, but I read the novel a while back and it was also pretty slow moving, so at least it's staying true to that aspect of the source material lol. (unrelated, but Nadia is a guy in the novel, not sure why they changed that.)
I'm not even gonna think about the ep 12 preview because it's giving me a headache lol. I'll just forget about it and wait for next Friday, otherwise I'll go crazy thinking of different theories! Let's hope for the best.
That's where the acting theme comes in. There are psychological studies explaining why actors have trouble in…
Ah, yes! So well said. I understand that people hate the cheating trope, I do too! But it really is being oversimplified here, it's more than just "cheating", the reason behind the cheating, what lead up to it, and its after effects should be considered too. It really is multi-faceted and it's kinda sad that people are just simply writing this off as a "trope" that happened outta nowhere when that really isn't the case.
Just saying, I think few people are missing out on the point that; yes cheating 'trope' is used many times in…
I agree! There really are some people in these comments who seem to be missing the point, and it seems like all they want is a happy romance, which would be nice. But this story is about growth. And the cheating happened at a time when they were clearly growing apart, seeing each other less, and on different paths. That type of stuff happens in relationships all the time, and sometimes it can't be helped. I was upset about the cheating at first, as well, but ep 4 was well done, and I like the direction it took. I felt bad for both Oh-aew and Teh in ep 4, and I just want them both to be happy, wether with each other or not.
Ok, I've seen all the spoilers and everything that's happening in this season. My question is: is it worth to…
You should definitely watch it! The acting, writing, and plot is still very good and on par with the first season, but there is definitely some sadness involved, and a certain level of betrayal that some viewers really did not like. But personally, I don't think it takes away from the production of the show, it's still top notch. More than anything, ITSAY & IPYTM are very realistically done, and that makes it good to me, and well worth a watch. The 2nd season focuses on the realistic growth of their relationship and the obstacles they face as a couple, and individually as they go through school and find their own paths. It's a great continuation of season one, at least I think so!
How the hell did a whole week pass and it's time for #4? I'm about to stroke out just thinking about it.Thought:…
Right! The anticipation nearly killed me, but it’s already time for episode 4. I’m excited!
That’s an interesting thought, I wonder if he did! In the trailer he definitely seemed like he was planning something, so I really can’t wait to see how ep 4 plays out.
Not sure if anyone has talked about this yet, but I just realized something. When Jai is making out with the teacher & she asks him if he’s still stressed about the play, he says yes, so she tells him to “try her way” .. clearly her way is to manipulate the actors (or at least Jai) & make out with them to apparently get them more into the role, so we see where he learned that from lmao considering that’s exactly the method he used on Teh. What a great teacher 🙄
I just wanna throw this out there for those who say it's not realistic what Teh did:Was it really unrealistic…
Very well said, I agree with you. Your comment has helped me to be a little less pissed about what happened because it was hard for me to see things rationally lol. At first, the cheating felt out of place, and I feel like they could have come up with a better way for Teh's character to have a conflict. But as unfortunate as it is, cheating is realistic. You're right that Teh lacks emotional control & he's quite impulsive, so I can see how & why he would stoop so low, but it still angered me so much, as someone who was in love with ITSAY and all that they went through to be together. I almost don't want him & Oh-aew to be together after that because to me, cheating is just unforgivable, but it's supposed to be HE, so not likely. I just don't know what to expect going forward and I hope Teh can have some type of realistic redemption.
Also sorry for the slight ranting of a girl who is almost in her 30's lol.
This movie introduced me to Arashi :) for some reason I felt relaxed while watching it. I also loved the Arashi song they played at some points in the movie, Sora Takaku (?) They're great actors.
