Let me tell you all something. Don’t hate me. This is better than all the overrated series like 2gether and 2moons combined, where the only thing good about them seems to be their looks. Some Thai BLs should step up their game. No kiss! So what! This is beautifully done from start to finish.

Actually, Chen Jia Han is the one who fits with the name “Birdy” because he is brave and ready to face whatever coming to them. Seem like Birdy is just a hero wanna-be and doesn’t dare to accept who he is or how the world will react to them. He is a depiction of double-standard but somehow, I can feel his uncertainty, fear and suffocation. Whatever, I like this movie. It is worth the wait. ❤️

So far I like this series. It focuses on friends, family and emotions more than their boring non-sense campus life. 90% of Thai BL series look like just a bunch of kids wandering around the university campus doing nothing apart from flirting. (To name a few, over-rated series like 2moons and 2gether. Don’t hate me. Lol!) Judging from 5 episodes, although “Tonhon Chonlatee 1-5” may not a masterpiece level like “I Told Sunset About You”, it is light, funny, fresh and decent.

The series is good except Ai-Nhai-Miriam creepy crap plot. You don’t need to hire a girl to fake that you are not gay. If you just want to help that girl financially, there are so many other ways to do that. It is like fake dating to avoid Green in 2gether, which is also a crappy plot. Lol

You can hate me. I don’t care. but this series is much better than some over-rated series like 2gether. I don’t understand why this got very low rating. I am excited to watch this every friday.

If anyone knows why I feel like recently Mew doesn’t give a f**k about Tharntype at all? I don’t see any Tharntype related things on his Ig or twiiter recently. Is he being busy or is there something going on?

Definitely not just about the ending. About 3 or 4 last episodes are already disasters.

Red Balloon is a masterpiece. Right or wrong is great. Both are far better than this overrated piece of trash.

This series is bad not because of the lack of skinships and erotic scenes which are not a used-to-thing to thai public but because it is simply a piece of trash, bad acting especially from Bright, bad writing, bad editing, bad directing. Example, even if we remove the kiss scene at the end of Love, Simon, it would still be a great movie. Simply, 2gether is just without substance, is flat and boring. Even chinese bromance series are better than this visually BL series. GMMTV made the 2gether universe like not so unrealistic already. Things like overly screaming fangirling, stalking someone everywhere who is not even a celebrity, confessing about their same sex relationships publicly portrayed in 2gether are already unrealistic. Your excuse of this being a bad series only due to limitations GMMTV have for general public(thai culture) is ridiculous. So many great gay movies and series even without single erotic scene. This is just my opinion. If you mind, sorry for this.

May be we expected too much from this series. The last few episodes of this series make me remember My Tee The Series which started very strong but became flat and boring after a few episodes. May be I am wrong but I can’t help thinking about Bright’s acting. I feel like sometimes he is not really into his role. He sometimes seems like he is awkward (his facial expression looks like he want to laugh even when he have to cry) and is not that serious enough in some serious scenes. Ok everybody. Time to sleep! Lol.

So many flashbacks!!! Is it necessary? Overall, I would give 8/10.

At least this series is a bit better than My Tee the series which was a total disaster after about first 5 episodes and I even stopped watching it and still don’t know what its ending’s like. From the start, I noticed that this series is set on the typical thai BL setting where you can see stuffs like university campus, friends group, fangirling, music thing which are really boring and repetitive now. In most thai BL series, in first few episodes, they somehow fight or argue about things, then they fall in love, they provide you with some sweet moments, then one or two episode before the final, some obstacles between them usually appear and then they overcome those obstacles and become happily ever after in the final. to be frank, 90% of thai BL shows are like that. this series is also in that 90% but what this series made me feel so special and hyped is their intimacy and well written pace (simple yet beautiful) from the very beginning to somewhat middle part. then, it’s gradually losing its sparks more and more and become undeniably boring for me. I still watch this because I still like the actors. You are wrong if you think I want some more skin shippings from them. the show is not great now not because of the lack of kiss scenes or whatever erotic scenes but because of its writing and directing. so many great korean dramas where the actor and the actress don’t even really kiss apparently. The problem with this series is just about bad writing and directing.
