Title Where Your Eyes Linger Spoiler
Random thought: Maybe Taejoo’s father knows about Taejoo and Gook having a close relationship. He mentioned the “habit” on the first episode. Could it be that Taejoo’s father did something or said something to Gook while Taejoo was in Japan. Maybe that’s why Gook reacts so violently when Taejoo touches him. Maybe the habit is Taejoo sleeping with men, which upsets Gook because of his own feelings for Taejoo. And maybe that’s why Taejoo tells Gook to go tell his dad that he (Gook) wants the money for keeping quiet.

I loved when Tk said it made him frustrated that Gook pretended not to know what TJ meant, especially when TK said he knew he and Gook were the same.

Usually the episodes are available by 11p or midnight on VIKI, they just won't be subbed.
I watch the non-subbed ones as if I understand.

The day the episodes are released are the hardest days to get through because I keep checking the app to see if the episodes are up yet. I hope people will continue to show their love for this series so that we can get more BL content from Korea.

I'm still thinking whether Taejoo and Gook actually kissed on that grass and it was cut due to censoring or Gook…
At first I didn’t think happened, but there was the time in between the guy seeing them on the field and when they show Gook knocking TJ off. So maybe they did.

Give up what money??? What did Gook do to be exposed???
I thought TJ said Gook should tell the dad that it’s hard to clean up behind TJ, and that the dad should give Gook money before Gook exposes the things TJ did.

I checked and it’s not there. Maybe it isn’t a real song.

It’s so good, it’s killing me that it’s only 8 episodes. There’s so much more I want to know about the characters. I’d also like to know the history of the two main characters.

This kind of plot better suit in the format of a film. But just like other 10 minute dramas, they wanna make money…
Because LGBT shows are still taboo in South Korea, the producers wanted to do a small production, get feedback, and then see if they should invest in more BL content. This would have made a great 12-episode season, but I understand why they had to do something small. Too bad this story is so damn good!

In episode 3 when Taejoo caresses Gook’s neck and ear at school, and in Episode 5 when Taejoo is on top of Gook on the field, there is a little melody playing that I love. Does anyone know if that’s a song, or just some filler music?

I think it might feel forced, but I believe Taejoo thinks he has to confess now or Gook will leave him for the girl. So he had to throw his confession out there quickly.

I’ve started reading the novel. The characters should have an air of maturity to them. The doctor is a medical examiner who goes to crime scenes; he can’t look like a high school student. I could definitely see LukeWin in the roles. I love most BL couples (sorry, but I’m not really feeling BrightWin after 2gether), but this might need a new coupling. Or older actors.

Can you tell what did Tae Joo think sitting in car in the last scene? Subtitles were missing!
I wondered about the 1PM thing. Thanks for explaining it. And now that I understand it, that line does carry a lot of weight. Especially at the beginning of the episode where he describes him as a shadow that doesn’t go away, but at the end of the episode where he says a shadow SHOULD be there, even at 1PM

The thing is i have a little bit different opinion than most of the people about them. I don't think Tae joo knows…
You brought up some good points. Taejoo seems to be in love with Gook, but as you said, Taejoo may believe he has to antagonize Gook to get a reaction. Insisting that Gook take a shower with him was an eye-opener. The wrist injury, followed by Taejoo showing up at Gook’s date and trying to ruin it, just shows that he wants Gook’s attention. When Gook described their relationship as “master-slave”, it really got to Taejoo. At the beginning of the episode he said that Gook was a shadow that should become a self, but at the end of the episode he said a shadow shouldn’t become a self. It was clear that Taejoo, although pushing Gook towards that girl, actually doesn’t want to lose him or the relationship they have. Gook obviously cares for Taejoo, and is probably in love with him. I have watched and rewatched those five episodes so many times!

Taejoo had a few jealous moments! The show itself had some great moments. My favorite is Taejoo and Gook at school discussing kissing, and after whats-his-face leaves, Taejoo grabs Gook by the neck and pulls him close, while stroking his ear. Taejoo and that damn ear thing! Haha!

3) just sth to add here.. I think Taejoo got very serious and upset both times (one as you said when Gook joked…
When Gook mentioned “the troubles”, Taejoo seemed offended and hurt. And he asks Gook if he is happy, and Gook says he is. Which makes me believe (and agree) that they are both happy being around each other, but Gook might be ready for something else.

I think they want to see what the response will be. It’s still taboo in South Korea to talk about homosexuality.
There was an interview with the company producing this series, and the director or producer said they wanted to make this, show that the BL/LGBT genre is profitable, and hopefully get more investors (which would equal more BL/LGBT movies and shows). So this series is just to test the waters a little. Hopefully it gets great reviews.

as my answer: I just can't stand his behavior, I mean he acts like he's 5 years old, I don't wanna sound rude,…
I can understand that. It’s nice to see positive gay characters portrayed as out and proud. As a gay guy, I am always looking for that in shows. Perhaps, as a top, I am much nicer towards characters who are bottoms. Haha! But, Earth’s character “Intouch” in Until We Meet Again was pretty bold. He was the aggressor towards Kao’s “Korn.” Type eventually became that strong, feisty bottom for Tharn in TharnType. And although he had some issues, Tutor in Why RU was never shy about how he felt about Fighter.

Can we not attach our own experiences and beliefs to a fictional character, and expect them to behave as we believe we would, or they should? Bottoms being shy in realistic. Bottoms never having been in a relationship is realistic. There are many virgins of all ages who are afraid of sex, afraid of PDA, etc. Duen is not a damsel in distress; he is a character who seems sheltered and is adjusting to being pursued by another guy (a guy who has been in relationships before, consistently teases Duen, throws tantrums when he thinks anyone is interested in Duen, and has been caught in a compromising situation with that same guy now twice). You don’t have to agree with me at all; I just think the idea that this isn’t realistic is a fallacy. And I do believe BohnDuen have substance as a couple.
