Isn't the release date 25 July? Is that date also wrong (like when we thought it was 4 July)?
I'm almost certain since it's a Friday in July and they have a fan meeting the week before... but for some reason it's still not officially listed on this site
I don't think this turn of events is unexpected really. Mo's character has shown from the beginning that he is insecure about his self-worth and questions whether he is worthy of being in a relationship with. Especially in this episode, his complexes must have grown tremendously, as he doesn't fit the perfect partner that Heng's mother expects and imagines for her son. He no longer feels like someone who is simply dating another person, but like an intruder, like a "villain" who has disrupted the natural course of fate and what could have been a perfect couple (he actually tries to express this earlier in the episode, unfortunately Heng doesn't correct him on his view of things and just says that he loves him anyway, which is nice but doesn't help much). And it's true - Chicha realized her feelings not so long ago, probably would have confessed to Heng and they would be a couple by now if it weren't for Mo (since we even got confirmation that Heng liked her in the past too!). From Mo's point of view, he has no right to be Heng's boyfriend and is actively taking that place away from someone who is much more "qualified" than him.
correct me if i'm wrong but don't aof's shows always air at the end of one year/start of the next one? if so,…
Hm but Moonlight Chicken aired earlier in the year if I remember correctly... and Last Twilight was already nominated for all the awards in 2024, so he'd better come back in 2025 with a new series to win them all again like he deserves
Engfa's face is so distracting in so many of these scenes.. has she done an excessive amount of plastic surgery…
I'm 90% sure about lip fillers and breast augmentation. Her face is swollen too, but she doesn't seem to have gained weight and it wouldn't make sense for her to get facial fillers at this age, so idk I hope she stops and doesn't overdo it because she was already naturally beautiful
I thought about why Jack agreed to the deal so quickly. And I think what he said in the stairwell was very telling: it's enough for him if just one of them has a happy life with a decent job. As long as Joke is doing well, he is content and can forego his own happiness. I guess he just totally accepted his fate, which makes sense - since he was young, he was used to living a repressed life because of others. (Although he wasn't even legally obligated to pay off the debt, but we all know the boss's business is anything but legal.) Now he's sacrificing his future for his grandma. It's the same concept of putting yourself last.
Another idea was why he didn't just agree with the boss but secretly kept in touch with Joke. But then again, that guy has his informants everywhere, like Save, so things wouldn't go well in the long run. And more importantly, Jack is such a stupidly honest and correct person to the point where it becomes his weakness. He couldn't even accept his ring, even though it was originally his own property that was stolen from him! I think anyone else would have thought it only fair to steal it back. So after agreeing to do everything the boss tells him, he will obviously keep his word.
From this perspective, his behavior is completely reasonable and consistent with his character... I don't hate angst as such in a series, but I hope episode 8 will make up for it.

workshops
script reading (read through)
worship/blessing ceremony
filming
That is usually the order in my experience...
