After was based on a really popular harry styles fan fic but you don't see one direction fans calling to ban it.

Names are obviously changed when the book was published. So most people wont know its based of a Kpop group
And they will not be getting money from the got7 brand and keeps the fanfiction ver online for free(from what I have seen)
