RIP season 2. They just confirmed that the actors won't keep working together from now on.
I watched this series like 2 weeks ago by chance and I was looking forward to season 2. Besides, it was a great opportunity for the main couple and second couple. But well, at least season one has a good ending overall.
still the best drama of 2024 even if you cry tears of blood, they still made bank and it's still gaining popularity…
Emm... sorry if you still didn't 'notice', but you do care a looot or you wouldn't have written that comment. Not everyone who see how bad this drama can be are haters, it's just not a masterpiece like some people in comments are making it seems.
I finally could watch this and I had a good time. It is enjoyable as long as you turn a blind eye to the plotholes and incoherencies related to the mafia thingy going on, which I am quite used to after watching too many Thai BL series. I liked both couple, they had really good chemistry. However, I didn't have second couple syndrome, on the contrary, they were very annoying at times, especially on the first half. But I loved the main couple, and the age-gap wasn't an issue for me. How many years apart are they anyway? I hope each couple get another BL series, but I doubt it. I don't know if it's a rule or something but Taiwanese actors don't do many BL roles after their first one, except for cameos.
you clearly don't know what people are complaining about. it's already 8 episodes, people want to see the dynamic…
They are not bashing the series, they are saying the truth, which is different. This is a BL, not a bromance, if people wanted to watch bromance, they wouldn't be watching this in the first place. The previous commenter already explained it. You can re-read it if it's still not clear for you.
Some dramas leave you with impressions that you haven't felt before, positive or negative. I remember each drama…
Yep, this series is just ok, I've seen worse but it wasn't as good as the crazy fans make it seems. I remember I watched it after it was recommended a lot and it was cliché as hell (the rural setting is one of the most common ones in hetero thai dramas) and the acting was ok to stiff on some parts. And like all BLs, there well lots of filler scenes and lack of inconsistent situations. Good thing some people can also realise it.
Anyone else noticed in episode 21 that after the FL burns the handkerchief, the next scene when she's turning away, you can see the handkerchief falling down? I guess the editing team was sleeping while doing their job, LOL.
why is the rating going down? is the show not good? I'm on episode 12 and it's getting a little boring for me…
It gets boring in the middle (more or less where you are now) and then everything happens too fast with a very badly done editing (around episode 30 something). And an ending that was terrible for several reasons, starting with the fact it's the opposite of the novel. But some people keep rating this drama higher than it deserves only because it has their favorite actors in it. 🤷🏻♀️ I suggest you to check spoilers and then decide what to do.
Also, the dialogue-only happier ending makes me realize I actually do like the sad ending the best. I thought…
I agree with you. Some people, who obviously don't read or watch anything at all unless it has their fav actors, hence why some series have a nonsense rating, think that a sad or opening ending is something "unique" and not cliche at all. They make me laugh a lot.
No, tragic ending, ML dies. But just to be clear, the original novel has a beautiful HE. So my guess is that the…
To me, it's not worth it unless they release those supposedly special episodes and they show viewers a happy ending. I dislike sad or cr*ppy endings like this and it's even more upsetting when you know that the novel has a happy ending. But it depends on your taste and what you are able to endure.
People need to accept that the writing got sloppy towards the end. So many loose threads. Imagining what happens…
I totally agree. I hate when you ask if it's a happy ending or sad ending and people give their vey subjective opinion that most of the time it's the complete opposite of the real thing. If they don't know the definition of happy ending, they have Wikipedia, no excuse to be lazy.
