Thanks for the rec! <3 I did start with Sotus since it was recommended by everyone and has good reviews. I enjoyed it a lot, especially the first part because I like when characters meet. I also watched most of History series because a friend said they were short but quite sweet. Now I just need to decide the next one to watch, LOL.

With all the comments I'm a little confused. Is it a good or bad BL drama? Does this have a happy ending? I've never watched BL, only a bromance recently (The Untamed). So I would like to try a good BL drama.

Option A is the "happy ending". My guess is that they will show them leaving together to travel the world or something along those lines. The ending all the fans have been waiting for.

@Carol: You are completely right. Hence the reason I usually don't watch Chinese dramas, their endings are *shudders*... Besides, I'm happy nobody dies and of course, that no one ended up in jail either. Sometimes I think some of the viewers were watching another drama, lol. Anyway, now I can wait for the movie with Wen Ning & Lan Si Zhui, they will probably mention these two or have them as guest appearance.

I would have liked that too but overall, I liked the ending. It can always be worse, that's for sure. And I never said it was about comments from this site, actually most of those are on facebook.

Since I have friends that told me they stopped watching because they were told the protagonists separated... So yeah, it is annoying that because of badly explained posts, they are going to miss this drama. Of course anyone can have their own opinion as long as they are not lying or omitting information, deliberately or not.

I don't understand why people keep saying this is a sad ending, they are confusing others and it's annoying.
In the end, they do reunite; Wei Ying is playing their melody when suddenly Lan Zhan appears after taking care of the mess Jin Guangyao's left behind. They finally can travel the world together.
(In case nobody noticed, Wei Ying's clothes are different)

I'm really happy this has a happy ending... And that they didn't ruin it in the last minute like they've done with so many other shows before. It was worth all those hours I spent watching it and checking spoilers, LOL.

With the help of Weng Qing, who is well versed in the art of medicine, Wei WuXian's golder core was transfered to Jian Cheng. Hence, Wei WuXian doesn't have one. And that's the reason he doesn't use his sword Suibian anymore.

Completely agree! I've never watched bromance before because I know most of them are probably based on BL novels and full of censorship. But I decided to give this one a try and was pleasantly surprised, I just hope it carries on like this. By the way, in what episode does Lan Zhan calles Wei WuXian "Wei gege"?

Yes, they do kiss a couple of times and they even have a very hot-and-heavy chapter (98, I think). But most 18+ happens in the extras, after chapter 110.

I agree. All in all, I like the main actors and how they are playing their roles. The rest... eh... better not say anything, LOL. But I did enjoy all those looks between Lan Zhan and Wei Ying. <3

I never imagined to see them together again after Goblin but I really liked their chemistry there.

I used to avoid historical and fantasy dramas like the plague. I think it was because I found them overdramatic with too many special effects. I don't remember what drama made me enjoyed historical... But last year I watched my first fantasy drama, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, and I loved it. Still, it's not easy to differentiate between a good drama and a bad one.
