I have never made an complete review in this area but for the first time on MDL. I plan to do so because this drama does not deserve being loathe without proper reason.

I thought about them taking a lot of more inspiration from the game to make up their whole looks beyond just the colors. They're definitely not the same as any other drama costume I've seen so far. The style is there but it remains different. I find lovely the aesthetic personally 🤌🥰

Qi talking about Jinzhao and starting to cry after eating egg noodles felt so real "..But now, it feels like I don’t have a heart anymore" 🥺🥺😢

Qi and Jinzhao combined attacks against Zhu Yu was so nice visually.

I love Qi, Jinzhao, Zhaoyuan and Xiang Qing in these costumes with armors. They look so good especially Qi’s one, that blue on her 😍

Noo seriously, I didn’t know?? I know Xu Kai could definitely play this but Tan Jian Ci is irreplaceable as Xiang Liu after seeing him in that role. Everything about Tan Jian Ci playing Xiangliu from the styling on him to his acting is perfect to ethereal literally. It’s giving "Nobody can replace the original" too much. He was born for this role I believe 😌😍

Yeah I know right what you’re talking about so tragic. Xiangliu hit harder to me because everything he did for Xiayao is on another level and he had no one else like Bian Luohan did live more happiness in his life but end up tragically. Anyway, they’re both tragic in a different way 😭🥺
