I agree with you at this point this is only about his pride because Yuan Zhi and Shang Jue driving angry since little. But I also think Shang Jue is right about him not deserving this position not just because maybe he’s not a Gong but his whole attitude. I find ML to be a bit unfortunate and selfish. GZY doesn’t want to be Sword Wielder in reality nor to protect any heritage nor everything. He doesn't even seem attached to this family nor caring at all just to his brother and his father when they used to be alive. By all his actions you can see this so why not let those who want to be and actually care about. I understand too much GSJ and GYZ disrespect for him sorry but they’re kinda right for now. Excuse this guy is not even wary about anything seems to not know anything or a lot about his own family etc..We feel like he's going to sink everyone and I’m rooting for YWS at this point. I love where the drama going it’s different from other drama for once ml is not flawless. I think this is a good thing he has a girlfriend it’s not often that we see ML with another real love interest or girlfriend to whom he is kinda attached and conflict forreal I think that makes story more interesting and realistic I want to see how this is going to play
