I think the real reason why director choose xukai is not being handsome or tall but it is bcz of eye acting .Mei zhuyu speaks less his eyes act more especially during his first appearance the way he watched wuzhen from below.His eyes hides his identity the same meizhuyu with bright eyes stare at wuzhen but at night with sharp deadly stare kill demons.He is quite admirable thats the reason i like him

I think so bcz when i read novel the writer has shown him weak in start wuzhen always defend him but it is to conceal his identity as the story moves forward especially when they marry and he uses bis powees more and they have a fight with some kind of big demon at that time wuzhen gets injured and he comes to rescue and they expose its kinda spoiler but i dont know if drama will show the same

5 th i dont remember if there is bcz these are best in power as for cat lord asssissstant shu in novel he helps wuzhen but in drama his character is different so he might be 5th
