I liked ML's ex character a lot. She is just giving him instructions on how to confess his true feelings + how she breaks the misunderstanding ("Oh he is not your boyfriend. But people might think he is").
Not very sure if ML will join FL's team but that will be interesting office romcom.
Also lot of scene for 2nd couple already. I am wondering what they will have for the spin-off. I would enjoy a short drama anytime i.e. 4-6 episode (18 min).
Man, the details the writer puts. If you go now and watch the trailer you will see female lead saying: "Aren't you going to get a job? You have been part timer here for ages.". (I am guessing it's episode 1).
To that the male lead replies: "I will when you get married."
Today's episode looks like he is going to get job in same company as FL. Man kept his word.
I don't want to hate ML's ex character. She seems kind of a mature person who sees the bigger picture and knows what's going on. But I don't like her clinging to ML episode after episode.
Every time Kdrama hit me with that: "Parent sacrifice almost everything for their family". It always make me cry.
I like 2nd FL character. "Who the hell going to wait next 10 years?" She goes on teasing ML.
Looks like the fiance came back? Doesn't anyone knows that he cheated on FL? I don't remember FL telling anyone. Just remember 2nd FL saying that she will find it out herself.
I just read the comments below. I think it's common in kdrama nowadays for FL or ML to have several ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend. Some drama they even have ex-husband and ex-wife. Which is totally fine I think. Obviously if you got kids who are younger than whatever age your country have for adult then try to not let them watch these.
But I think there are different types of drama when it comes to relationship. I will try to list some from year 2024.
1. ML is first love of FL and vice versa and they date and get together. Happy ending. Example: Lovely runner (I am ignoring original timeline FL liking 2ML. They never dated). Another would be Sweet Mobster.
2. ML and FL love each other or at least one of them love the other but they never confessed and they ended dating/marrying several other people before they reunite again. I can say "Love next Door", "Queen of tears" (maybe this falls in category 1), "Dr Slump", "Serendipity's Embrace", and "Marry my Husband" falls in this category. Man this category is booming.
3. ML and FL are totally stranger. They may have previous partner whom they might also get married and had kids, but now either their previous parner is dead or they cheated on them or the ML/FL had changed of heart. Example is this drama or "Atypical Family".
4. There is no romantic relationship between ML and FL. Maybe because there are no ML (Pyramid game) or leads are biologically related (A Shop for Killers) or one of them is not human (Death's Game). LOL.
Chose your poison. I had watched almost all type of drama. I am not including cdrama.
I find it very interesting that almost all the comments here are saying they didn't like S1. Maybe I am few of those minority who actually like the first season. Actually I would have not liked it if they didn't had all episodes at once.
Looking forward to S2. It's going to be 2024. That a very long stretch. I am pretty sure we will get some flashbacks as their were couple of things missing in S1.
So the 2nd ML is already a father and his wife died I guess. They just didn't disclosed it in this episodes. But I guessed it when 2nd FL was playing with that girl (who I think is 2ML's daughter).
I am pretty sure they are trying to throw us 3rd couple with FL brother and ML's female employee.
One mistery which still bugs me is why FL stopped working when she was 30. From the last scene today I am not sure if ML visited her in US and something happened. But most probably will come to know this by next few episodes.
Is this an easter-egg? It's written on the glass in episode 7.
Tbh if it was not there I would have never guessed it even after episode 4.

That ending hit hard. So they actually know each other from before. ML knows it, but FL doesn't.
Anyway I think ML might be CEO's secret son.

FL character is a bit different. But I guess it's fine as it's a drama after all. I still get some Hometown Cha cha cha vibe from her.
I still don't know why FL said she can't move from her ex. I think the conversation is cut by the ML. IIRC her ex cheated on her.
I don't see any villian character in this drama.

ML, 2 FL, 2 ML. And now FL on her way to do something which she truly loves.
