Very early to comment but there could be a chance that ML saved FL even in the past. FL got a trauma regarding fire. Looks like some incidents during her high school. Maybe ML only saved her as he can go back to time and do interact with FL.
I hope people do realize how similar this drama is with some other drama like "Someday or One Day" and "Shining for One Thing".

In spite of being similar this drama has its own story and managed to keep us engaged so well.
Now I have not completed Shining for One Thing, but I hope they don't give us ending like Someday or One Day. That will be too cruel.
Meanwhile I recommend watching "Kairos" when this is finished. It is such an underrated gem. No romance, just pure story.

In episode 8 him standing outside some building might have to do with Im Sol telling him something similar before. But lot of Im Sol's memory from past are lost. If we notice, every time Im Sol went to past is when she remembers what exactly has happened before.
