Now that we're half-way through the series, I was thinking about my top 6 moments of Pat and Pran; these are moments that I've replied, screamed atπ and fell completely in love with the main characters. 1. THE FIRST FIST BUMP. π 2. ELEVATOR SCENE. π€ 3. CAUGHT IN BED BY THE DORM LADY I.E THEIR BED SCENE.ππβ€ 4. NOSTALGIC SONG... PRAN WAS CUTE HERE.πππ 5. THE KISS OFCOURSE. βπππππ 6. THE FINGER-LICKING END CREDIT SCENE.πππ WHICH WAS WOULD YOU RATE THE BEST SCENE SO FAR?
This episode was slow but it did built up for what's coming. I was never an enemy-turned-lovers genre fan but this show is making me a fan because it is everything. They know they're enemies, they have no way of communicating with each other without resorting to their enemy stand. Hence the bet and i am loving it πππ€. SO WHO WILL FALL FIRST (THAT'S EASY, THEY ARE ALREADY HEAD OVER HEELS WITH EACH OTHER), THEN THE BET IS WHO WILL BE THE FIRST TO ADMIT IT IN PUBLIC (MY MONEY IS ON PRANπ). But the journey of getting there, we will know next year.
Kbl ranking 1. Light on me2. To my star3. Long time no see4. Color rush5. Where your eyes linger6. You make me…
I had to revisit all the K-BL I have watched; here is my top 5. 1. Color Rush. 2. Where Your Eyes Lingers. 3. Wish You. 4. You Make Me Dance. 5. Nobleman Ryu's wedding.
Episode 2 for most series tells you what yo need to do as a viewer, either put it on hold- drop it- or continue. This episode told me that i just found what could possibly be the best 2021 BL series. π€ππ
Today's episode was about that moment when you are about to lose everything and you finally realise what is important to you- Woong. for Yumi, it was about either letting go or trying to make it work. All in all, this episode made the breakup/timeout easier to handle for the viewers. π€
All the pieces are gathering together to hit us with a big heart-break. Bobby's breakup, Woong's low self-esteem and Yumi's divided feelings (she loves and hates Woong now). It feels like they will breakup in the final episode leaving us waiting for season 2. NO PLEASE NO. The wait will be unbearable.
Another excellent episode. Enjoyed every moment of it. BUT........ It feels like something bad is about to happen. You know that moment when everything feels right but the is a lingering feeling of doubt that all of it could crumble. π On the bright side, i really enjoyed seeing Chores' cell, she is funnier than Lust cell. I like her laid-back attitude.
I don't get the cha-cha-cha of this series' name, hence if i could choose 3 words to replace them it will be Hometown Embrace, Hometown Liberty and Hometown Warmth. 3 aspects this series provided. THX FOR 8 WEEKS OF ABSOLUTE BLISS.βππ
EP15 π’π’π’. I knew what was coming and for the first 40 minutes i wasn't affected but then the hyung appeared and said the best line ever "IF IT HAPPENS TO BE YOUR FAULT, THEN I WILL TAKE THE BLAME. SO IT ALRIGHT DUSIK'' my eyes started tearing up and after a roll of tissues i was finally stating to see the light at the end of the tunnel and then Grandma GA-RI.... I was praying even before she started saying her last speech that more than us viewers, she deserves to know that the Chief is fine. But that ending...π’π WELL LETS GO TO THE FINALE...
3 reasons why ep9 deserves a 10 ranking. 1. when yumi and woong were arguing, each kept to their own perspective and neither was willing to comprise who and what they are for the other. yumi was adamant on boys and girls not being friends especially woong and saeyi, a point we audience no well that the other have feelings (SAEYI), bring it down to friend or girlfriend for woong. 2. when yumi had a face-off with saeyi, she didn't give her time to say anything and she kept mum because she knew that yumi read her like an open book. OH THAT ELEVATOR SCENE IS A 2021 MUST SEE. 3. yumi learning to finally give priority to herself, what was the win of this episode. A stellar performance
So today's episode hit hard but with no information. we are all left guessing making this coming week the longest we will experience. 1. Did Chief Hong make a bad investment that lead to people losing their lives? 2. If his Hyung died from an accident, why is the noona blaming him? For the greatest character development or better yet the best growth goes to Ms Dentist, the way she met Chief Hong halfway was brilliant.ππ
For the first time in this series, i was laughing so hard and it wasn't the cells that made me laugh, it was the paper version of yoo babi. Every time he was on screen and we didn't see his face, i was rolling in laughter. Then he appeared and for the entire duration of this episode, i was missing 'THE DEVIL JUDGE' (IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN I RECOMMEND IT).
After episode 13, I only have one question on my mind.... "What Hurt The Chief so BAD?" All in All, today's episode was in sync; no cringey feelings between Ms Dentist and Chief Hong. 3 episodes left, what will happen to my weekendsπ€·ββοΈ.
I guess we passed the 'honeymoon' phase and reality has hit home. We got to see how different the main leads are in today's episode..... or atleast that what i thought for the most part of this episode, until Chief Hong did his magic. OH the beach scene was incredible, the most romantic gesture ever done in this series.
