I think that Tin wasn't lazy and indifferent toward his patients in the begining, he was just doing his job with detachement (much needed for doctors to be able to do their job without being influenced by their own feelings). Also the way he portrayed his inner feelings toward some noisy patients was so relatable and on point (I work in the medical field and i could perfectly relate with his attitude)

maybe Vegas was tender because Pete was still wounded and covered with bondage
