I didn't watch all the dramas from this list but I don't agree with Rooftop Prince, I really loved the ending wich was different from those silly happy illogical endings, it wasn't tragic either, but a biitersweet logical ending wich repects what did you say above: "knowing that it's a fictional concept doesn't mean you'll give anything to the viewers. You need to be particular with the details to make time travel believable and not forget what you started with." and I think that RP respected those rules ^^

I gived 3-iron a 7 because I'm not very familiar with the style so it was hard to rate but I really enjoyed it, it's just that the style is confusing and I was wondering how the director managed to make a movie when we don't need people to talk to understand what they feel ^^ and i hope that I'll have the chance to watch your movie :)
When I'll start to watch LYATT I'll try to guess wich couple is pissing you off :D

Actually i'm in love with "Ghost" ^^ basically i like crime/investigation dramas and the new thing for me in Ghost that it deals with cyber crimes and cyber investigations and not in a classic way, it's not just about a cyber investigation team solving crimes, it's more complicated than that since the team itself is corrupted. Besides, i'm learning many things about hacking and cyber crimes, it's quite stressful, nowadays we can comletely ruin a person's life with just a clic, we can also start a glabal virtual war and blow up a whole nation with few clics ! We can even hack cars since they are now technically similar to big computers !!!
So Ji Sub is an excellent actor and he deserves his good reputation ^^
I'll add a dirty carnival to my list since you recommand it ^^ By the way I watched 3-Iron, I pretty liked the style, very different from the movies i usually watch ;)

Hi Pretty ^^
I was looking for a good family drama after finishing OB, korean make well family stories and problems and the plot of LYATT sounds really interesting since it deals with surrogacy. I like the cast too, many actors that i like appear in this drama^^ Now i'm watching "Ghost" and I need to download LYATT. You can continue watching it since you have time and i'll start it just after finishing "Ghost" (I can't watch 2 dramas in once)or you can wait for me if you want :)

I wouldn't be able to watch more than 100 dramas (and still hungry for more) if cliches really would bother me, it just depends of the drama, sometimes it's very well done and very well balanced so we enjoy the story and those cliches without any problem. And I have to say that the most original dramas wasn't always those wich impressed me the most. It's all about feeelings, so i completely understand when you say that dramas like "orange days" deserve a 10 even with the cliches ^^

well, halmoni finally decided to let them be togrther :D This is what i like about this dramas, people tend to make mistakes or being stubborn but that never last too long and they end up reconcidering it :D

Very stubborn indeed ! even if I understand how it's painful for her to lose his son but that happened 26 years ago, and ja eun did nothing wrong besides being the daughter of the "murderer". I can understand how the situation can be awkward between Ja Eun and Tae hee but they are grown up people who can settle things between them without the elders trying to push them to separate.
I didn't watch nameless gangster yet, but it's based on the same storiline like "friend our legend" so i'm very interested in it: the war between the government and the gangsters at Busan in the 90's ^^
I can see that you really liked orange days so i'll add it to my list and try to make time to watch it ^^

good :)
I'm at episode 52, Tae hee and ja eu have already break up and they are really suffering (especially Tae hee who keeps asking his grandmother to forgive Ja Eun !!) but it looks that something is messing about the story of the accident and the fact of Ja Eun's father being responsible of it. I hope that he will be innocent at the end so Tae Hee and Ja eun can be together again ;)
I like gangsters stories a lot, the serious or the funny ones ! I enjoyed movies like "a bittersweet life" or "the man from nowher" and dramas like "friend, our legend" or "my boss my hero" ^^
I didn't watch tatta hitotsu..(I always fail to write correcty japanese dramas titles :D), the story sounds simple yet charming ^^

I completely agree with you when you defense Tae Bum, I always loved his chacarter from the begining with all the mistakes that he made and his way to solve them. I was really in pain seeing him giving away his dream of the "start togther" project for his wife, that was such a big sacrifice that not anyone could be able to do...I never loved also the way that his mother in low was meddling in their problems but its realistic, I already know many of mothers in low who behave this way thinking that its for the sake of their children while it's completelty wrong. The point is that inspite of everyring I really loved the couple Tae Bum/So Young as much as the other couples ^^

Yes i agree you can't force love and you can't force mariage, but for the case of Tae Bum he was the father of the child and he was the one who started the problem since he was the one who kissed her first when they where drunk and they finished spending the night together. When a man makes a woman pregnant he sould take full responsibility after that haha ! besides, he was not doing the right things for his child and wife like going with her to the hospital or worrying if everything is alright with her pregnacy, he was lacking very much being reponsible as a father and I think that this is especially what really upset Soo Young and things went more complicated when the ex-girlfriend reappered after that. Anyway now Tae Bum is deeply in love with So Young who is playing hard to get :D and both of them where wrong about some points about their relationship and their marriage ^^
The most important thing that all this part of problems was unnecessary and like you said they cut short the very charming interactions who was starting to begin between Tae Bum and So Young to make all this nonsense ;) Now i'm waiting to see them again together and I'm waiting to see the baby ^^

Till now i don't have a problem with the character of Cha So Young, I can understand the way she behaves especially when she said that she's not the kind of person who can think rationnally when it comes to love and relationships and when shhe said that she hate finding herself in this pathetic and ridiculous love triangle. Tae Bum was the kind of guy who seems not realisng exactly what he wants, sometimes he looks very interested in her and trying his best to make their marriage succeed and sometimes he tends to wave (especially with his ex).
By the way I think that it wasn't really necessary for the story the fact that his ex popped up from nowhere and decided to settle things with Tae Bum, the writers could've avoid this cliché.
As for Tae Shik, he was the big loser brother in a very humain and touching way. He's the unlucky brother who even when he tries hard to make a sense to his life he ended up always with a big fail not because he's so bad or stupid but because his kind naive heart and his unlycky fate.
