Sorry, I totally misunderstood what that nasty guy said near the end of the episode (the one who is also Eun Joo’s boss in that music school). It was weird to see the Maestro so uncomfortable around him.
In that scene, that nasty guy was talking about his own father in law and said that Maestro Nam should pay him a visit some time because after all he was the one to “make him a star” since “he had nothing to offer”. I didn’t catch the “in law “ part so I thought he was talking about Maestro’s father.
Now I wonder why he was chosen to “become a star”. Maybe his father is the truck driver? That would be a twist!

Ok, the pace of this episode got me worried. I wasn’t expecting some major things to be revealed so soon.
Throughout the episode I was suspecting the Conductor so much. After those ending scenes I no longer think he’s the murderer...BUT he definitely knew that something horrible was about to happen to “Kim Ian” that night. Which is why he might’ve rushed over to the crime scene because Yi Young wasn’t supposed to be there....Maybe he was the one to save her?
Most importantly, he knows the mastermind behind the crime and WHY. I don’t think the end result was what he truly wanted. But hey, he’s obviously involved in some shady stuff.


So here’s my theory:

In order to make Nam Joo Wan the future Conductor of the Orchestra Philarmonic the corrupted higher ups decided to get rid of Kim Ian because he was way more talented and had a promissing career ahead of him. Which could explain why he got abducted and then murdered right after. I know he was a rookie pianist, but what if he was considering such a life-changing offer? Or what if Nam Joo Wan’s father ( who by the talks of it seems to be an influential person) was simply afraid that his son’s talent would be outshined? It would explain why the truck driver got a bail. I SMELL CORRUPTION!
Oooor maybe it got nothing to do with Kim Ian ‘s talent... could he have discovered some shady business? Gosh, I’m in too deep . xD

I want to add that the fact Yi Young possibly realized she was the girlfriend “Jang Yoon” was talking about all this time...just like that... Is in my opinion TOO FREAKING SOON.

Also, I think “Jang Yoon “ wasn’t in good terms with his younger brother or at least wasn’t as close to him as he probably thinks he should ‘ve been. Especially after his passing.
And that creepy bald guy with a scar on his hand is undoubtedly the murderer....which kinda sucks because as I said it’s still Wayyyy too Soon for such a big part of the mystery to be revealed.

Let’s see what tomorrow ‘s episode will bring. I’m still excited to see what’s coming next!

Omg, no I don´t mind at all! It´s been a long time since a drama had me second guessing about the characters and the plot itself. I wanted somebody to answer them actually xD It´s so fun to discuss theories, different points of view and things that I probably have missed.
After I read your comment I rewatched and paused some scenes and what you said makes sense.

I find it really weird that nobody in the orchestra knows Jang Yoon (not even Yi Young´s closest friend) aside from Eun Joo . She was quick to pick up on his intentions. I think she will warn Yi Young about his creepy approach.
One of my theories is that Jang Yoon was the "black sheep" of the family and was often overshadowed by his brother´s talent. But despite that he really cared for him. I really believe he´s impersonating his brother´s personality in order to trigger Yi Young´s memories. In the flashback where Ian met Yi Young the way he spoke and his manneirisms were just too uncanny,
It´s really creepy how much Jang Yoon knows of their relationship and even about things his brother said to her.

In the flashbacks of the night of the murder it looked like a man in black was running after Yi Young and while she was running she was holding the knife (maybe she took it away during a fight to defend herself?).
The fact the Conductor was there and was wearing black that night makes it too suspicious.
Eun Joo mentioned that the Conductor has been obsessed with Yi Young ever since the accident. So, what if he was responsible for Ian´s death and wants to keep Yi Young closeby in case she remembers?

If there´s a chance that Ian was a psycho and tried to harm Yi Young but got murdered in the process....that would be another whole level of a twisted turn of events. Or maybe if he was just a victim, the culprit could be more than just one person.
Anyway, I doubt about the Conductor and Ian´s romantic relationship but everything is possible. I´m ready to be shook. xD


Sorry for this long reply. I´m looking forward to more episodes and interesting theories!

It´s really strange that he keeps saying his brother died in a car accident and I have so many questions already:
1.What were the motives behind Kim Ian´s assassination?
2. If Kim Ian died in a car accident then why was his body laying down in a field in the middle of nowhere?
3. Who chased Yi Young with a knife?
4. Why is Jang Yoon carrying that same knife a.k.a the murder weapon around? (Even cutting apples with it. Like, why would you do that? wtf)
5. What is the meaning of Kim Ian´s ring? It seems like a clue to something.
6. What is the Maestro´s involvement in this murder case? And why is he interested in Yi Young?
7. Did the police not investigate this case properly?
8.And if Jang Yoon blames and somehow resents Yi Young for his brother´s death then why kiss her?
Pretty sure I´m forgetting a thousand more questions. xD

Can´t wait to watch next week´s episodes!

I´m really impressed by this. At first it felt a bit awkward but then the plot picked up really quickly. Although it´s a bit cliché the murder mystery is sooo interesting. Yeon Woo Jin´s character is so sassy, creepy and cute. A weird combination but somehow he makes it work. Oh and his singing is hilarious. xD

Before everything was finally revealed, Min Young was low-key making fun of Ji Eun's husband for trusting his wife so blindly, not realising he was getting cheated on. But now that she knows the man her friend is having an affair with turns out to be her husband it isn't that funny anymore, is it? Oh the hypocrisy. She's so entitled, egotistical and surely not a trustworthy friend.
Obviously an affair should NEVER be an option to escape a broken marriage but she refuses to let Jung Woo go despite knowing how unhappy he is with her. Obsession and possessiveness is not love.

Since I couldn't bare to wait for so long I decided to give the Japanese version a try and so far I really like it. The female lead there has way more personality. Anyway, I'll keep watching this one but next time I won't keep on refreshing the page in hopes for subs

Yasss! That crazy psycho deserved that beating! It´s a shame that he didn´t get caught. He should´ve experienced Bong Soon´s max level of strenght. And oh my gosh seeing her so happy is the cutest thing ^-^ Min Hyuk had his dose of jealousy this ep. I guess first lead syndrome is now a thing xD There´s definetly something about Gook Doo, I feel like this time he showed a bit more emotion. He acted like such a tsundere. Ahhh why are they all so cute! >u<

Definitely! I feel like we don´t really know much about him which is why i´m so curious to see the point of view of his school memories. I wonder why he became a cop since he seemed extremely talented whenever he played the piano. The guy is a mystery xD

Gook Doo is too rightous about everything,so the bro code could definetly be the reason! Nice thinking! I just don´t think the comment was meant to be negative. The guy cleary thinks she´s fragile and vulnerable. It upset Bong Soon because she knows her super strength doesn´t match up with her crush´s preferences. :/

Same! It looked like he was giving her a clue so that she would know what he´s into! xD I often question if he´s aware of Bong Soon´s feelings and i´can only guess that he is. How could he not, right? Maybe he used to have a litlle crush on her and maybe he might still have some lingering feelings because despite his rude attitude it´s obvious that he really cares for her. I really don´t understand why he didn´t asked Bong Soon out in the first place tbh, he´s totally missing out! That gf of his is kinda giving me the vibes of that bitchy teacher from Kuzu no Honkai,acting like she´s an innocent woman... Oh well, we´ll have to wait a week to know for sure what Min Hyuk meant. T-T

OMG Min Hyuk´s basement is the coolest thing! *o* Also, I Iive for his quirky interactions with Gook Do hehe. Can´t wait for more bromance action! But for now it seems like he´s wasting time with his shady two-faced girlfriend. It´s obvious that she doesn´t love him & they don´t even have any chemestry at all...it´s such an awkward relationship. She should break up with Gook Doo first instead of shamelessly flirting with Bong Ki . -_-

On a side note, the gangsters at the hospital cracked me up xDD Plus, Bong Soon´s comeback was the best:

Ji Ah and Ki Joon were in a relationship when they worked together but after Ki Joon left his position as her manager she started to date Tae Ho
