It's still really close! That's about the level where I am in my karate. :) I'm a brown belt. I have 2 more belts to go before I test for my black belt! >.<

Wow! I looked it up, and red is really close to black! :o

*nods* Mm-hmm :) I'm so scared. I go up for my black belt not long from now ;~;

It's a form of Japanese karate ^^ Our form is more relying on blocking things and getting out of the way :)

Wow! :o That is a lot! I took swimming lessons for 2 years, dance for 6 years, cheerleading for 6 years, and this month marks my year of karate :) I plan on taking karate for as long as I can ^^ We don't have Taekwondo here, just Yoshukia. ^^

I love karate too :D It's so fun! Cheerleading XD the cheerleading I was in wasn't cute though, it was tough :o I was a competitive cheerleader ^^ I did that for 6 years :)

VIXX I think I began following at the beginning of this year, when they came back with On and On. I listened to the audio and fell in love with it, then I found the video, and boom. I was hooked. I have the same problem with biases. ;~; At first it was just Hyuk. Then it became Hyuk and Hongbin. Then they swapped and I added N. Now I'm beginning to like Ravi too. ;_;

Thanks! ^^ Yep, I test in April for my black belt ;~; It's so exciting because I get to be beat with a bamboo stick. >.< I think, in this case at least, kyu means grade. Kyu only refers to those who are coloured belts. Once you reach black belt status, you're referred to in ranks of degrees. But now that you mention it, it does mean 9 too XD

Ahh~ I did dance, cheerleading, tee-ball (which is kinda like baseball, only easier), and now I'm in karate :) I do some sports, but not a lot XD

*nods* It's really fun. :) I'm a brown belt. Belt rankings are different when it comes to the different forms of karate, so in my dojo's case, belt ranking goes--
White
purple
blue
yellow
yellow with a stripe
green
green with a stripe
brown
brown with a stripe
brown with a stripe (this is where you're prepping for your black belt, so your belt colour stays the same)
1st degree black belt.

I test in July for my 2nd kyu (nice name, eh? lol) which would be brown with a stripe, and then in October I test for my 1st kyu (brown with a stripe again) and then I'm put on 6 months of probation where I have to train really hard, and come to every class, including brown and black belt classes, until April where I'll go to a different dojo to test for some absurd amount of hours like 4 for my black belt. If I pass the test there, I'm a black belt. ._.

I really want to learn how to read and understand Arabic, since it's so different from English! ^^ But when you typed the vowels, it didn't show up :(

I actually ended up turning in my paper that way, and my teacher had to call me back asking what I had written >.<

I can't read in Arabic at all ._. I tried to learn how once, but there's something like the vowels are only little ticks above the words? You don't write vowels? ._.

*nods* We do! ^^ Last year I was in Junior Civitans, which dealt with things around the community and helping others out, and then I was also in FBLA, which is Future Business Leaders of America. It focused on leadership and computer technology :) What about you? ^^

Exactly! I hate how some people think their fashion is stupid. :p I mean, they're trendsetters, to start with. A lot of people are gonna think something sucks until it becomes popular, and then those people will get sucked into it too.
