I'm watching this for the 2nd time and I haven't found it slow like the 1st time I watched it I love how there relationship builds up its slow yet fast I love how they get to know each other and how they trust each other even though its hard to trust in this BL, I'm probably late with this answer for u, yes you should finish it its amazing the way it ends the twist and turns it takes you through u wont be disappointed.

in REAL LIFE there's something bad happened between ae (whose real name is perth) and pete (whose real name is saint). what happened was, perth's manager created a rumour (it was confirmed to be fake i think) about saint dating old guys (sugardaddies) to become rich, to gain money and stuff like that. so this went viral and saint's reputation was tainted. besides that, during love by chance season 1 promotional activities as perth's management purposely planned to exclude him by manipulating the dates etc. because you know why? his management wanted perth and other actors under the same management to gain fame all to themselves. now, DO NOT blame the actors by the way it's not their fault. both perth and saint (other actors as well) didn't wanna talk about this issue in public so it's safe to say that they handled it privately because the tea is just piping hot and they had to take care of their image. but saint did briefly touch about this issue once in his own fanmeeting saying how grateful he was for the fan's support because he mentioned that he was going through a really hard time and he even teared up. long story short, saint did not wanna involve anything related to love by chance anymore and the director(s) had to figure out something because the second season was already confirmed hence, ae and pete broke up. apparently in the novel, they ALSO broke up as pete's dad didn't agree with his love life. it says that pete's dad literally made ae financially broke and almost got ae suspended from the college but was helped by tin (with pete's instructions). pete had enough of this and agreed with his dad to study outside of thailand (i belive it's in germany) in exchange of ae's "easy life" and made a promise with his dad to not disturb ae
