As a fellow westerner British to be specific I have no idea what your talking about. Unless you can speak Japanese you can’t even mention the script because we have to rely on the translation. The acting…. Are you kidding kioyi and Hira’s eyes spoke louder than words in ep 4.
You make it sound like western views and media are better when tbh when only comparing this show to British and American shows I’ve watched seem to cover similar things. I mean let’s talk about the Netflix show YOU he’s a stalker, sexual predator and murderer yet people swoon over him and it’s now going for season 4.

I hate this word toxic people just throw it around for anything that makes you slightly uncomfortable.Tv would be bloody boring without some drama, tension and a little toxicity.

What kioyi and Hira needed in high school were real friends. A friend who could go to Hira and say " he definitly likes you, he wouldnt have kissed you if he didnt like you just phone him and ask" and a friend for kioyi to tell him " of course he doesnt think you like him you threw him on the floor. Go to his house say sorry and try seducing him over the summer"
Unfortunately they are both alone and have nobody they could confine their true feelings too.

I understand what your saying but it doesn’t excuse his behaviour. Hira believes he has no chance with kioyi, he believes that he’d make kioyi unhappy or uncomfortable if he had tried to stay in kioyi s life past high school, these insecurities were probably amplified because kioyi couldn’t say anything nice.
That being said he’s a redeemable jerk an apology, a confession and kioyi being nicer and he has the power of making Hira very happy. I can’t wait to see

I really didnt like that he kicked hira but after seeing the pain in this picture i think i would of kicked hira in the shin too

I’ve watched ep 4a few times now and keep changing my mind on who to blame. Hira for being clueless and basically sabotaging himself by ghosting the love of his life. Or kioyi for not just admitting it I’m not sure what he was waiting for, Hira has confessed in the past and got regretted of course he’s not going to try again.
Seen some stills for next week which look heart breaking I feel like I’ll want to climb into the tv and cry with kioyi…… is it Thursday yet. 😱🙏

Hira is me when I had my first crush, the overwhelming emotions just cause you to go into crazy stalker mode but luckily I think we al mostly grow out of it.
Kioyi reminds me of the young boys who pull the piggy tails of the girls they like in primary school. He should of grown out of it but there’s still time 😀

Hira you need to think more about what kioyi is telling you. When kioyi asked about hiras phone number I thought “omg kioyi tried to phone him.” Hira who idolises kioyi basically ghosted him because he thought kioyi didn’t want to see him but kioyi wanted to get in contact and must of been upset when the number was discontinued. I can’t wait for next weeks ep

Is there definitely 5 episodes because GagaOOLala says today’s episode was 4/5 so is it 5 or 6 episodes ???
