Well real fans should always put them selfes first. If you are uncomfortable with something that an celebrity says, it's your choice to forgive him or not. Never let anyone decides for you what you have to do in a situation like this. If you can't forgive him, that's also your right.

And still.. I think Vegas his father will find out Pete is still alive and then tells Vegas to kill him again. Pete doesn't want to go as he is bonding with Vegas and Vegas will tell him that he just used him and he doesn't like him. An then Pete will go back, heartbroken. I think this could be an option.
Hoping Vegas will let him go but there are more scenarios in my head to be honest.
Yeah as I said before Vegas his dad will be really angry so I also thought that because he is still seeking for his fathers acceptence, that maybe he will tell Pete that is was nothing, that he used him and then let him go, becuse his father wants Pete dead. Or Pete escapes himself. Or Vegas tells Pete that he is not good enough for him. There can be a lot of things that could happen at this point, because they changed the whole story and also how Pete is feeling at the moment. So I'm curious what will happen, but I think there are a lot of possibilties.
