I think it's a miracle Mark gave him the chance to explain at all. If it were me I was already gone. I think Mark suffered enough through their story. It's always him ending up with pain while he tries to open up himself towards Vee. I mean especially when you look at Mark his personality. He is a very closed off person. Vee is the one who opened him a bit but everytime he opens up he got hurt. I think it's very strong to put yourself first when you love somone that much but that person is hurting you. He took some time to reflect on the situation and on him self and his feelings. I think that's great and mature.
And yeah you're right about the trust part but that is something that he has to consider when he will forgive Vee. Will he trust him enough this time? And is Vee trushworthy enough. ( I think Vee has proven himself at this point.)
