Omg I had the same dilemma, I just had to watch 12-16 last night. I thought I had a perfect system where I’ll only watch 2 episodes per day but that didn’t work after each episodes I found myself clicking next. 🤣🤣🤣🤣. It’s okay I still have 2 unwatched episodes (17-18) I’ll wait till all episodes drops next week and then binge watched every episodes in one go. I hate this waiting for new episodes,

First of this drama has so many layers to it almost like an onion 😅 couldn’t think of any other comparisons. I mean one minute I’m crying, the next I’m LMAO, the next I feel like picking up my remote control and throwing it at SS mum’s head when I see her being mean to her daughter (then I think about how much I paid for my Tv, )😂😂😂 the next I find myself having empathy for her. For the type of drama it is my expectation for this drama exceeded. I hope it continues to do so. I suppose the point I’m trying to make here is yes the drama is slow paste but for most good quality historical C-drama isn’t always a slow paste the first 20 or so episodes. I’m from the era where most of historical C drama are about 60-80 episodes long just so you fully understand the storyline #BringBackThoseDays now days I watch a historical c drama and it’s 40 episodes and most of time I’m left thinking I wasted my time watching that for the storyline not to make sense or feels rushed through reading comments about the drama being too slow well if the storyline was rushed and didn’t make sense y’all be the same bunch of complainers that will be in the comment section complaining about it.

You’re right, also just to add we forgetting this is a two pt drama, I would think they’d air the next pt round autumn has you’ve mentioned which would make sense. And the ratings are positive in my opinion yes it’s not going to be for everyone tastes which is fine. As for investors this drama is likely to gain investors for the second part and more money will be pumped in promoting the second half.

Episodes 10 BEST EPISODES SOFAR OMG I though it was 7 but OMG 10 had everything. I don’t even know where to start. Omg 😆 episode 7 is giving me so much joy 🥲. The relationship between NN and the Aunt is so sweet 🥹 to watch. I love ZL for this role, NN mother , doesn’t she feel embarrassed to see a complete stranger dots on her daughter and she’s just looking on like an outsider 😅😅😅 how embarrassing for her.

You know what I love about this series? It’s somewhat relatable to a lot of people a lot of the viewers myself included can relate in terms their relationship with their parents especially Mothers to girls. I’m from an African background and watching this brings back some memories, I remember when relatives would visit and serving and greeting(Uncles, Aunties even non blood relatives) any elders must be done in certain manner, how you addressing your parents in certain manner. CSS mother is just over the top and lack empathy towards her own daughter for reasons that really not clear for now, but watching episodes 8 I can kinda see she does care for NN but in the most unconventional way.

Nah sorry I HATE CSS mother more any other baddie in this at the moment and so over her the scene she took YY hand to show her the festival ground, and left CSS standing there sorry no one can’t tell she doesn’t HATE her own daughter and wish YY is her daughter instead this has gone past she’s feeling guilty this pure hatred cause that how I would act if I HATE someone and don’t wanna have anything to do with them find faults even if there isn’t any, choose them over every and anything else and that what the mother has done since the beginning. I See in the comment section people oh it tough love well if that is tough love what is hatred then?
