Ah, It's actually pretty common for a show or a movie to insert ways to emotionally manipulate the audience so they feel really touched and emotionally invested by the story, and still get nominations and awards for that (you can easily take the ''oscar bait'' example). Sorry if I sounded aggressive in my comment, I really don't think this drama is all that bad, but a lot of the times it was obvious they exposed the characters to deep fragility in superficial situations and themes mainly to make us feel sorry and moved for them. It's totally fine that it worked, it was supposed to. But for the thematic of the show, also considering it is a deep taboo in pretty much every single culture of the world, mainly in Korea, that we also have to count the sexist culture. They could totally have done a better job and a more responsible writing.

They even updated the subtitles in episode 7 & 8 (in iQyi) and looks completely different, and not only for Cai Bing, but Shen Xiaoting and Hikaru as well. I think it's evil editing because they changed a lot of the choreo in the final performance (Cai Bing gave away the killing part, and we didn't even know) and they didn't show us anything or how the group overcame the issue.

I kinda agree, but somehow i think his acting in the first season was better than this one? at least the crying scenes at the end got me shocked enough to think that lol but in this season i just started paying attention in those annoying goofy smiles LOL
I just finished ep3 and omg, not Jai and Teh having more chemistry than Oh and Teh LOL tbh i get it why people hate it so much but its one of the bests episodes of the entire show
